Probable removal of dents to the interior of the sugar in the past. No gilding to interior of teapot, but there is fine scratching to interior of bottom of teapot. Spout in good condition.Tray; has fine scratch marks underneath and is of matt appearance.Outer box; would benefit from polishing, interior good.The gross weight of the 4 pieces of silver 2110 gms includes the black fittings of the teapot.

Condition Report Hinge good and strong, lid shuts well, interior tarnished, general wear and surface scratches, good overall.

A silver oval hinge lidded case, with banded decoration within engraved rims, length 7.8cm, import mark London 1923, a silver circular box and cover, gilt within, import mark London 1905, combined weight 106 gms and a circular box, having a turned tortoiseshell base and with an associated top, (3). Condition Report The hinge is in good condition, there are few minor surface scratches and marks throughout. The silver circular box and cover, the gilding is a little weak within, the lid fits well, there are very few minor surface marks but generally in good condition. There are chips to the rim of the tortoiseshell base and also there is a chip to the side of the base.
A George III silver curved rectangular snuff box, London 1803, a George IV silver rectangular snuff box, with engine turned decoration, Birmingham 1825, combined weight 147 gms and another rectangular snuff box, probably European with engine turned decoration, (3). Condition Report All boxes show wear to the exteriors, with rubbed engraved decoration, the oval box has a few dents and the crest to the lid is rather worn, the hinges of all boxes are good and the covers close tight.
