We note Straits $25 Postal Fiscal, vignette washed and extensively repaired at top; BMA overprints including $25 scarlet and brown on piece with STAMP OFFICE/PENANG cancel; 1948 Silver Weddings throughout, less Pahang, cancels mainly good; 1949/50 sets with a mixture of cancels, by no means all bad; Kelantan 1937 set, $5 with KOTA BHARU CDS but not in period; Perak 1935 and 1937 sets, 1937 $5 with good colour. In all a very useful lot, with viewing highly recommended

Begins with a nice run of 6ds SG 1-4, 35-7, 1884 5/- surcharge mint, fresh, with a small black adhesion on reverse; 1888 part envelope with unauthorised 3d bisect, used locally; 1896 5/- and £1 with faked cancels; SG 57 fine used; SG 65, water-stained; SG 66 with a surface scuff; 1903 and 1911 £1s; 1912 £1 and a £2 used with three part CDSs, RPS Certificate as genuine but faked cancels in our opinion; 1932 set, the 10/- and £1 lightly cancelled; Wilberforce set to 10/- plus £1 fiscally cancelled; Silver Jubilee set, and KG VI issues basic stamps complete, the Silver Wedding with a faked cancel. An interesting and valuable lot
