An Edwardian silver purse, by J.C Ltd, Birmingham 1909, having chased leaf decoration, 105g, total weight; together with two silver salt spoons, 16g. Condition Report: Dent to right bottom corner and distorted at edge. Leather interior in poor condition. Some scuffing and scratching to surface. Hall mark is clear. Missing chain/handle?
A Georgian silver oval salt, by Solomon Hougham, London 1796; together with a silver collared cut glass scent decanter, 8.5cm; and a silver salt spoon. Condition Report: Stopper chipped, cut glass stained, collar dented. Salt tarnished, glass jammed. Unable to weigh without glass.

Malaya. KG VI used collection on leaves, almost complete basic stamps for the period. We note Straits $25 Postal Fiscal, vignette washed and extensively repaired at top; BMA overprints including $25 scarlet and brown on piece with STAMP OFFICE/PENANG cancel; 1948 Silver Weddings throughout, less Pahang, cancels mainly good; 1949/50 sets with a mixture of cancels, by no means all bad; Kelantan 1937 set, $5 with KOTA BHARU CDS but not in period; Perak 1935 and 1937 sets, 1937 $5 with good colour. In all a very useful lot, with viewing highly recommended
Sierra Leone. 1859-1949 used collection on black leaves. Begins with a nice run of 6ds SG 1-4, 35-7, 1884 5/- surcharge mint, fresh, with a small black adhesion on reverse; 1888 part envelope with unauthorised 3d bisect, used locally; 1896 5/- and £1 with faked cancels; SG 57 fine used; SG 65, water-stained; SG 66 with a surface scuff; 1903 and 1911 £1s; 1912 £1 and a £2 used with three part CDSs, RPS Certificate as genuine but faked cancels in our opinion; 1932 set, the 10/- and £1 lightly cancelled; Wilberforce set to 10/- plus £1 fiscally cancelled; Silver Jubilee set, and KG VI issues basic stamps complete, the Silver Wedding with a faked cancel. An interesting and valuable lot
South Africa. 1910-54 used collection (no Dues or Officials) on black leaves. We note a nice 1916 £1 with Hollard St CDS, 1925 Air set, London Pictorials with 5/- (splitting) and 10/-, 1930-4 unhyphenated set, 1933-48 unhyphenated set, Silver Jubilee and Voortrekker sets, 1947-54 set with both 5/- pairs, etc. A good collection
Ascension. 1935 Silver Jubilee mint balance collection with the set unmounted, 1d and 2d corner blocks hinged on selvedge only, the 1½d with #7 'split pea'; 1½d R6/2 line under 'LE'; 2d with R3/1 'duck' flaw (and a used example); 5d with the good R1/2 re-entry to left value tablet
