Some of the knife blades are misaligned and pitch visible between collars and handles suggestive of repairs. Mother of pearl handles in good condition. Some damage noted to the piercing around the base of one basket. Both are steady on feet. Hallmarks clear. A little wear to the high points of decoration in places but decoration generally in good condition. One foot pushing in slightly. Some bruising and small dings to both bases. A cloisonné enamelled Russian silver sugar bowl. Mark of Gustav Klingert, Moscow, late 19th century. Assay master Anatoly Apollonovich Artsybashev, 1891, the rounded bowl designed with a swing handle and raised on a shallow circular foot, the sides polychrome enamelled with scrolls and beaded garlands, the handle with conforming enamel decoration, 84 standard, marked on handle hinge and underside, 5.5cm high (exc. handle), approx. 10.3cm dia., together with a small silver salt, spuriously marked Grachev, 88 standard, city mark indistinct, handle broken, the sides cloisonné enamelled in blues, green and red, 3.3cm high, total weight approx. 10ozt (2) Provenance: Property of the Late Jane Sinclair Morpeth. Condition Report: Please note that the handle on the example stamped 'Grachev' to underside is fully detached (temporarily attached in photo). General scratching, pitting, marking and nicking to both bowls. Some losses and discolouration to enamel in places. The smaller example wobbles a little on feet. Simpson & Son, of plain rectangular form with foliate pierced grille and engraved monogram to lid, 2.7 x 3.8cm; and a miniature George IV silver vinaigrette, Birmingham, 1820, John Bettridge, with gilded interior and foliate chasing to base and cover, engraved with monogram, 1.8 x 2.2cm total weight approx. 2.4ozt (3) Provenance: Property of the Late Jane Sinclair Morpeth.

An 18th century Italian silver coffee pot. Lucca. The fluted, baluster body raised on a stepped circular foot, designed with beaded drops beneath spout and a wooden scroll handle to a domed, hinged cover with knopped finial, 28cm high, approx. weight 24.2ozt  Condition Report: The coffee pot is in good condition commensurate with age. Some general scratching, nicking and pitting noted. Some bruising and small dings to body and cover. Very slightly wobbly on foot. Cover closes snugly. A repair to the cover. A possible repair near upper handle socket and one unobtrusive repair to rim. A small patch of solder where upper handle socket meets hinge. Hinge slightly loose and a small split noted under 10x magnification but mechanism works well. Handle a little wobbly - lower pin slightly loose. Some wear to handle commensurate with age. A pair of novelty owl salt and pepper shakers. Stamped 800. Realistically modelled standing atop a rock and designed with yellow paste eyes, 5cm high, together with various other novelties comprising: a miniature model of an owl, stamped sterling, with chased feathers and yellow paste eyes, 3.4cm high; a small novelty pincushion designed as an owl, stamped sterling, the removable head concealing a red cushion, 5.2cm high; and a novelty vesta case designed as a bird, stamped 925, realistically chased with feathers, 4.2cm high, weighable silver approx. 1.8ozt (5) Provenance: Property of the Late Jane Sinclair Morpeth. Condition Report: The items in good overall condition, with very minor wear. The yellow paste eyes to the salt and pepper shakers and to the miniature owl with no damages. The red cushion part of the pin cushion in good condition. Some minor surface scratching and nicking but no repairs or significant damage noted. Some very light bruising to raised areas and rims in places. Some marks slightly rubbed. Some light tarnish in places. One plate with slightly more scratching to underside, one with a nick to border, and one with some pitting to upper side. Overall a nice set in good condition. S.p.A., stamped 800, of octagonal form, designed with a shaped, moulded border to rim and foot, 16.6cm high, total weight approx. 36.6ozt (2)Condition Report: The fruit bowl is in overall good condition, with some general surface scratching and light nicking. Some dark marks and spots to interior that haven't come off with a light polish. Marks clearly stamped. The rose bowl with light surface scratching and some pitting. Some minor dings noted and some dark spots noted to interior. A very small split noted under 10x magnification to interior of the rim. The foot very slightly pushes in. A pair of 19th century American silver entrée dishes. Gorham, Rhode Island, 1872. Of oval form, the twin handles terminating in lily pad clusters and the beaded covers surmounted by stylised foliate scroll and pine cone handles, the bases and covers each with decorative banding, covers engraved with initial, both dishes complete with silver plated liners, dishes approx. 17.7 x 30cm, 13cm high (inc. handles), total weight (exc. liners) approx. 78ozt (2)  Condition Report: The dishes are in good condition commensurate with age. Some scratching and nicking commensurate with age and light use, but no repairs noted. A few small, unobtrusive dings to the raised edges/borders. Some small dings to handles and bodies also. Some abrasion to plated liners and metal showing through in places on undersides. Marks clear. One handle slightly wobbly when attached. A little wear to high points on decoration but generally in good condition. Some dark spots in places that have not been removed with a light polish. Liners and covers fit well.
