A late Victorian diamond star brooch/pendant, the six pointed star set with old cut and rose cut diamonds, with knife edge bar set old cut diamond accents between, approximately 2.36 carats total, with fold out suspensory loop and later brooch fitting, 3.5cm wide, 7.7g gross Condition Report: The setting has rubbing to the cut down collet settings, some of the claws have rubbed off, one of the settings has been replaced, there is some lead solder around the pins at the back of the brooch where the central cluster panel fits into the star. The brooch fitting is later, there is a screw in setting where the old brooch fitting would have attached, the diamonds are all bright and lively, varying colour and clarity, mostly K-M colour, and VS-SI clarity.
