Silver open pocket watch or fob watch the silvered dial with gilded Roman numerals, bearing marks for possibly Charles Harris, Chester, 1889, the backplate of the movement inscribed 'Coventry', dial is 4cm approx overall including the outer case, 68g approx overall and a gilt metal thimble, unmarked, in original case, 3g approx overall (2) The watch does tick, but is untested and we would recommend having it serviced. The thimble is untested. Both show overall wear, marks and scratches, consistent with age and use. Winder suspected replaced.
