The lower leather stitching leading down to the whip itself is coming apart in several places, it is damaged cracking and the whip is also cracking and in poor condition. The horn handle is intact and in reasonably good condition. Silk Panel: Overall good with occasional areas of missing thread, threadbare, staining, a moth hole on the left hand border of the central panel and various other minor blemishes, but colours still reasonably strong.

EXTRA LOT: A Victorian oval silver and agate vinaigrette, initialled, with engraved decoration, Nathaniel Mills, Birmingham 1850, 4.5 cm wide Condition report Report by GH Externally good with some very minor dents commensurate with age. The setting is good with no cracks or damage to the stone. The silver gilt interior is generally showing some wear but mostly still present. The internal pierced cover has some small pieces of misshapen and bent metal but it is generally complete. The internal hallmarks are also clear and not worn. Overall in good condition.

A silver plated twelve person table service, in an oak canteen, 51.5 cm wide Condition report Report by GH Twelve person table service: There is one egg spoon missing, and a carving knife. The plating on the cutlery is in good condition. The stainless steel blades on the knives are in excellent condition. The forks are also in good condition with good plating and some bending and wear to the prongs but not excessive and commensurate with light use. Similarly the spoons and other items only have the occasional light scratches and in good, well looked after condition. The oak canteen is all present and correct with scratches, dents etc commensurate with age and use. Overall, once again this is quite a well looked after canteen.
