W.B.Burns; also two framed citations relating to the Croix de Guerre, one of which contains the corresponding dress miniatures of P.D. Drysdale, both dated 1916; a framed letter from the Foreign Office dated July 13th 1918, granting the King’s permission to wear the Croix de Guerre; a framed German warning notice printed also in French, Dutch, & English, regarding punishment for sabotage to field telegraph equipment; & four albums containing approx. 330 photographs, many annotated, showing British & French personel, war damage, heavy guns, aircraft, & day-to-day activities, etc., in Verdun, Champaign, Somme Bion, Culey, Douaumont, Souain, St Hilaire, Busy, La Chappe, Laval, Mesnil-le-Hurlus, & other locations. *PLEASE NOTE: at time ofcataloguing, we were under the impression that P. D. Drysdale was a member of The Friend's Ambulance Unit, but have now kindly been informed that his name does not appear in their records.
