A William IV Silver Table Snuff Box, Benjamin Smith, London 1837, rectangular with waisted sides, the hinged cover applied with a coat of arms and convolvulus border, allover engine turned decoration, gilt interior, 9.3cm wide, 8oz 2dwt Clear marks to flange and part marked to inside of cover. The box is of good quality and good gauge. Some wear to the engine turning on sides. Gilt interior slightly pale but still bright. Hinge appears intact, cover closing properly. Traces of gilding in places.

Kirk, by his Patients and Friends, on leaving Middlesbro, Augt 1854, gilt interior, 9cm wide, 4oz 18dwt Marks to the interior are all clear, gilding is pale. Engraving to arms and inscription is worn and difficult to read. Some wear to the engine turned border and base. Hinge appears in good order. Cover closing fairly well. Some wear to decoration at high points and corners.
