A George V silver mounted Scottish sgian dubh, 8cm fullered and part-serrated blade, thistle and faux-weave grip, leather scabbard, 18.5cm long overall, the fittings Birmingham 1934Provenance: By repute the property of Colonel Sir Piers Henry George Bengough KCVO, OBE, DL (1929 - 2005), who served in the Royal Hussars from 1948 until 1973, was the Queen's representative at Ascot between 1984 and 1997, and became High Sherrie of Herefordshire in 2002.

TEA BOWLS & SAUCERS. Two large oriental tea bowls, one bowl with a line of script, the other decorated in iron red with leaves on a tree. Each bowl mounted in silver plated metal, with handle & each with a silver plated saucer. Each bowl diameter approx. 11.5cm. Also, a smaller pair of oriental bowls decorated with a bird amongst foliage & four characters to the reverse. Both bowls now with silver plated mounts incorporating handles & highly decorated silver coloured metal stands.
MAPPIN & WEBB MEDAL ETC. A silver medal by Mappin & Webb, awarded to R.J.B. Lobb as one of the team winning the Cow Judging Contest, Dairy Show 1932, presented by The British Dairy Farmers Association in original case. Sold together with a brass cattle tag label, stamped for B. Lobb Bosleake, Carnbrea & No. 75, being a cattle tag. Also an original photographic postcard by Opie Limited, Redruth showing R.J.B. Lobb & two fellow judges & a little ephemera concerning this prize winning Cornish team.
