A novelty silver and glass scent bottle the silver marked Cohen & Charles, Birmingham 1938, in the form of a soda syphon, domed bottle with pewter syphon, held within a half length turret form silver casing, 7½in. (19cm.) high. Condition: Several dents to base of silver case, buckling to one of the demi circular turrets to upper section. Syphon mechanism no longer working. Glass undamaged. Engraved inscription to silver.

(16.5cm.) high, the matched cream jug and twin handled sucrier of similar design, maker C&C, Birmingham, 1900, gross weight 28 tr.oz.; together with a plated sugar sifter. (4) Condition: - Teapot: small ding to edge of base and top of spout tip. Lid fits well and handle secure. Marks slightly rubbed to centre by still clear. No other damage noted. - Cream jug & sucrier: small ding to base of cream jug. Marks clear. No other damage noted. - EPNS sifter: Good condition, with no damage noted.

(2) Condition: All in good condition - marks slightly rubbed but clearly legible.

Condition: Bent slightly sideways on foot. Heavy tarnishing around foot. Marks slightly rubbed but still legible. A few small dings to body and cover.
A George III silver pap boat maker's mark partially rubbed, possibly Stephen Adams II, London 1804, plain oval form with reeded rim, crested, 5 1/8in. (13cm.) long, weight 1.9 tr.oz. Condition: Maker's rubbed partially rubbed, others slightly rubbed but clear. Crease just above back of base and a few small dings to base. No other defects.
An antique baroque silver dish probably 17th century, possibly German, circular form with scalloped rim, with repoussé and punched floral, shell and wrigglework decoration, the central roundel depicting a beast in a landscape, possibly a leopard, on a very shallow circular foot with broad rim, the edges of the inset centre engraved with the tips of flowerheads, unmarked, 9½in. (24cm.) diameter, weight 12.3 tr.oz. * For a 17th century silver dish of very similar form and decoration, used in Jersey as a Communion Dish, please see 'Silver in the Channel Islands' by Cohen & Bird, pub. Jersey Museums Service, p.64 and back cover. Condition: Small hole rubbed to one shell, pin prick hole to border and split to centre of one flowerhead. A few rubbed splits to silver to raised border around central roundel. One side of rim bent downwards a little. No other damage or restoration.

(8.2cm.) long (exc. chain).

(8.25cm.) diameter, gross weight 6.7 tr.oz. (4) Condition: Two in good condition, with very slight dents to rim. The two others with significant denting to rims.
A Japanese cloisonné silver wired vase Meiji period, of four sided baluster form, tapering to a circular foot, the dark blue ground with goldstone flecks and decorated with a bird in flight by a tree and peonies, 12in. (30.5cm.) high. Condition: Some small flakes from the neck below the slightly distorted copper rim. Some crazing and a chip to enamel extending 2in. (4.8cm.) from an impact mark approx. 1¾in. above foot. A small triangle from the band above the foot rim. Tiny bruise to shoulder. Fine pitting to much of the decoration from the making.
A Japanese takamakie lacquered fan shaped kogo box Meiji period, with detachable lid, decorated with silver relief and mother-of-pearl islands on a takamakie sea, the base with conforming decoration of lake walkways and irises, the lid underside decorated with mother of pearl birds in flight, the base interior and underside in nashiji lacquer, 7 x 4¼in. (17.75 x 10.75cm.). Condition: Tiny pin prick chips to gilt on upper surface of lid, two small chips to 'Fan guard' edge, 6 x 5mm piece missing to interior rim wall, 2mm chip left side of rim wall.

Scottish military interest - a rare silver 2nd Royal Lanark Militia Officer's waist belt clasp late 19th century, maker's mark for Johnston & Co., Glasgow and stamped '3', featuring a central triple headed thistle and foliate spray, within '2nd Royal Lanark Militia' lettering, foliate belt mounts, 3½in. (9cm.) long. Condition: A few small dings and nicks to edges. Slight rubbing to detail on thistles. Maker's mark clear. No repairs or other defects.
A 19th century blonde tortoiseshell card case rectangular form, push button side hinged release, ivory strung finish to upper body and lower lid, silver rectangular reserve to upper lid, 4 x 3in. (10.2 x 7.6cm.). Condition: 3mm impact mark to side, hinge loose, split to upper lid side just above hinge, scratching commensurate with use and age.
A 19th century gilt brass pocket barometer 2in. (5cm.) diameter, with silvered dial, in the original maroon morocco leather case. Condition: Some tarnishing to silver around edges of dial. Lacquered gilt brass case in good condition, but edge of bezel dirty and has a few small rubbed area to gilt. Case has some rubbing to surface of leather and small nick to centre of lid, and silk pad inside lid has shattered, showing wadding beneath.
A rare Indian Elephant goad/axe late 18th century, axe head inlaid with remnants of silver and gilt decoration, attached by a block to the shaft and spike, a brass crafted elephant affixed to the top of the mounting block, the block also inlaid with the remnants of gilt decoration, pole form shaft unscrews to reveal a spike form goad, 23in.(58.5cm.) long.
A scarce Hukin & Heath Art Deco silver mounted lockable decanter the cut glass decanter of oversized scent bottle form, with bevelled edges and slightly sloped shoulders, with diamond and kite cut facetted stopper with silver mount and hinged clasp, the decanter neck with silver collar with lock, by Hukin & Heath, Birmingham 1927, 12¼in. (31cm.) high, with key, base of stopper with repaired chip, small chip to base. Condition: Base of stopper insert has been broken in two at a 45 degree angle and re-glued. Two small (2mm) chips to left shoulder corner, rough shallow chip to bottom left corner, tiny nibble to bevelled underside of bottom right corner, three tiny nibbles to back right corner, one tiny nibble to the bevel of the lower back left corner. Interior of collar cracked and been detached and re-glued. Scratching to underside commensurate with age and use – one curved scratch measuring 50mm is noticable. Small chip to right side of stopper exterior. 1mm chip to lower right side. 4mm horizontal indent to back of silver collar, 10mm mark to reverse of collar, possibly a test blemish. A narrow band of polish staining to collar exterior.
