Fifteen various Omani silver boxes, 20th century, each with filigree detail, some set with semiprecious stones, to include three with amethyst, one with star diopside, and two with labradorite, the largest pear-shaped example 7.5 x 5.7cm, each stamped '925' to base, 20ozt, together with two unmarked white metal examples in the form of cooking pots (17)Condition report: Dirt, tarnish and wear to all. Some rims and other areas misshapen. One example with enamel decoration has losses. General surface wear and scratches throughout. Two unmarked examples are untested, and not of any real quality.
A silver mounted spherical ceramic vesta, Birmingham,1914,11cm diameter and two glass vestas, Birmingham 1896 and London 1904 (3)Condition report: The two glass vestas with dents to the silver mounts, the smaller with minor bruises and the larger with a chip to the base. The ceramic vesta has some marks from silver cleaning or match striking to the border of the silver mount and a stain from a label near the base, otherwise no chips.
