A George III silver nutmeg grater; oblong with trellis engraved cover around a central rectangular crest engraved cartouche; hinged cover with bar thumbpiece opening to reveal a steel grater. Prick engraved sides and base. Grater immobile so date letter not revealed. By Joseph Wilmore. 3.6cm length.There is a slight dent to one end of the grater. The engraving is pretty crisp, but there is a little wear to the engraved crest. There is a slight split within the side seam of the hinged cover. The grater itself is somewhat corroded and needs easing to open it. This has not been done so the hallmarks to the base have not been seen.

A late 19th/early 20th century silver overlay elongated baluster-shaped ceramic vase with Ruskin-style glazes, the florid overlay in high Art Nouveau style (14.5cm)Condition Report: Condition is generally good overall, no hallmarks are prevalent. The neck appears a little 'abrasive' to the touch - the glaze has bubbled a little in the firing process and under a loupe there is crazing to be seen on the surface but no crack, damage or restoration has been noted. There is an impressed no '29' to the underside.

A large silver-mounted cut-glass scent of spherical form: star-cut base and the silver mounts in repoussé style with C-scrolls, cherubic style figures, foliage and vacant cartouches, the hinged lid similarly decorated and opening to reveal gilded interior and original hand-cut glass stopper within, the mount assayed Chester 1901 (13 cm). Together with a square tapering cut-glass scent with floral decoration and silver mount (2)Condition Report: Square tapering example - two or three small pinhead-sized chips away from the top of the stopper, also minor nibbles at the bottom of the stopper, also scratches and minor black marking to stopper, the silver mount on top of the bottle appears to have had a small 'knock' to the top of the lip but does not detract. Minor surface scratches to be seen (under a loupe) at the top and the very underside commensurate with age and usage. The spherical example - the stopper is in good general overall condition with no problems noted, the hinged silver lid closes tightly ( v small dent visible) and hallmarks are visible. The silver mounting is in reasonable order without indentations, damage or reparations, there are marks and scratches to the underside commensurate with age and usage.
