AN ELIZABETH II SILVER COMMEMORATIVE CLOCK by House of Lawrian, London 1975, of square architectural form, raised on four ball feet, the domed top cast to resemble roof tiles surmounted by a ball finial, for the tercentenary of Greenwich Observatory, one side with a FLAMSTEED and above his 7-foot equatorial sextant and the date 1675, the opposing side with HUNTER a satellite and 1975, all against a textured ground, the glazed circular dial with Roman numerals and signed LAWRIAN. 13cm high, 15 troy ounces grossThe marks are clear. In generally good condition. Not working.
A LARGE EARLY GEORGE II SILVER SIDE-HANDLED COFFEE POT by Hugh Arnett & Edward Pocock, London 1727, of tapering cylindrical ‘lighthouse’ form with moulded foot, the C-scroll fruitwood side handle pinned to tubular sockets at a right angle to a curved octagonal spout, leading to a hinged domed lid surmounted by a squat urn finial, the front engraved with a coat of arms. 23cm high, 28.4 troy ouncesThe marks are clear. The hinged cover is in good order and closes well. The handle is firm in the sockets. Surface wear commensurate with age. In generally good condition.

A few small dings, scratching to silver edge to underside. Not hallmarked. 3. six silver teaspoons (a trio, pair and single). * Condition: One of the trio with a bent stem. Otherwise good.

Two dressing-table requisites: 1. a 19th century spherical cut-glass scent bottle with hinged silver lid. 2. a late 19th century hand-held silver-plated mirror ornately decorated in repoussé style with Art Nouveau swirls, flowerheads, leaves and two storks, and with vacant central cartouche.
*** DESCRIPTION REVISED *** An eight-day bedside-style clock: octagonal hallmarked silver frame; beige dial with Arabic numerals and easel-style stand. The back of the frame with maker's mark JG (Chester 1928) and 1931 engraved inscription. (9 cm high). * Please note: The movement in this clock is not original - it has been replaced with a modern German quartz movement. * Condition: Modern replaced quartz movement which requires a new battery. Hands later replacements. Dial original and good overall. Silver frame good with clear marks.
