An Edwardian silver novelty pincushion, in the form of an elephant, Birmingham 1907, 3.5 cm high, and another (marks rubbed) (2) See illustration Condition report Report by GH Marks quite rubbed on both. Generally quite overpolished with excess polish in the nooks and crannies and the pincushions are both flattened and polished. Structural both appear fine with no obvious major damages or repairs.
A George III silver swing handle basket, of oblong octagonal form, decorated a foliate engraved band, crested, maker's mark rubbed, London 1792, approx. 6.0 ozt, 15.5 cm high (over handle) Condition report Report by GH A little wear to the engraved decoration in places but no obvious repairs or major damages. Silver gilt interior generally a little worn but mostly still present. Overall very good and hallmarks crisp.
