A Victorian officer's sword, with a metal scabbard Condition report Report by RB The scabbard: surface rust to the majority of areas, appears to have previously been sprayed with silver paint, no large dents, it is 84.5 cm long. There is a small curved bit to the top, which is probably part of the section missing. The sword: the blade is 80 cm long, there are several nicks to the blade, has probably been cleaned previously, the guard is loose, some of the wire has moved, and the shagreen has finally slipped down the handle.

Condition report Report by RB The pommel is slightly dented, with a small split right to its centre, the main damage is to the end of the scabbard, which is incomplete, and where the handle goes into the scabbard, it has pushed down the silver coloured metal mounts, the blade is currently stuck in the scabbard, and the handle is loose.
