An XVIII Century and Later Carved Oak Eight-Day Longcase Clock, the hood with swan neck pediment and arched glazed door with column supports, the brass dial inscribed "W. Foster, Carlisle", with silver chapter ring, Roman numerals, minute and date apertures.Lot 1423 - Hood roundel on swan neck jas been repaired, the inner arched frame has been repaired, gouge on the base of hood caused by the door. Trunk - top of door has wood loss, small repair to trunk, new door hinges and escutcheon. Dial - the dial has been overhauled and cleaned, dial defect under the name and letter O with dots 5mm, clock weights and pendulum are present.
