The rifle also comes with a letter of provenance from the current owner stating that the rifle was obtained by his Uncle from the Blixen-Finecke family (he was a good friend of Gustaf Blixen-Finecke) and that the rifle had been used by Baron Bror von Blixen-Finecke, Swedish born Baron, writer and Big Game Hunter, husband to Karen Blixen (pen name Isak Dineson).
