RARE DINKY MAYFAIR 123 GIFT SET: An original vintage Dinky No.123 Mayfair Gift Set - containing No.142 Jaguar Mk.X - in pale metallic blue, No.150 Rolls Royce Silver Wraith - cream, light metallic green, No.186 Mercedes Benz 220 SE - pale blue, No.194 Bentley - in metallic gold, No.198 Rolls Royce - two tone grey, No.199 Austin Mini Countryman - pale blue. Four figures (3 male and 1 female). Condition is excellent / near mint / mint. NOTE: When first sold at auction approx 10 years ago, THIS set was sold as the 'best condition Dinky 123 set in the world' and fetched a record price for this set at auction, amassing over £5000 inclusive of commission. The set remained unopened from that purchase, carefully stored and sealed in wrapping until brought into us. Condition is generally excellent. The only issue of note is that some of the figures have detached from the card insert and have marked the surface of the cardboard. Other than that, this set still remains one of the best condition complete DINKY MAYFAIR 123 sets in the world. Rare.
