Five pieces of cranberry glass, flask, two jugs and two bowls. CONDITION REPORT: The two cream jugs are in good order with no issues. The bowl is not chipped or cracked but is slightly rough in places to the top rim. The fruit bowl is in good order. There is a firing mark to the centre of the ground pontil. The silver plated mounts are in good condition structurally, they are however tarnished and some of the silver plate may be missing. The decanter is in good condition with no chips, damage or repairs. The stopper is not correct and slightly too large.
A Chinese silver mesh purse, the clasp with opposing dragons and character mark to one side, stamped to the interior "85" and with further character mark. Width 7.5 cm, height 12 cm excluding chain. CONDITION REPORT: Weight 78.3 grams. The purse is in generally very good order. It snaps shut as it should. There are no significant dense scratches or any damage. The mesh work is a little stretched to one side but there do not appear any losses.
A Doulton Lambeth stoneware jug, with silver mount dated 1879, maker Hukin & Heath, potter Elizabeth A Sayers and Annie Gentle. Height 23.5 cm (see illustration). CONDITION REPORT: The jug is in extremely good order. The silver rim is in good condition and all of the hallmarks are visible. When viewed from the side it looks as though there has been a break in the jug at the top just below the rim. When viewed with a loupe this is actually a firing mark rather than a crack or repair. There is no visible corresponding mark on the outside edge. The area is clearly not restored but does look on first inspection to have been chipped in that area. This is not the case. The main body of the piece is in extremely good order, the colour is bright and strong. There are no cracks to the base.
A 19th century Staffordshire hen on nest egg cruet, chick showing, principally white with red comb. Length 24 cm. CONDITION REPORT: There is no damage, no repairs and no restoration to either the lid or base. The silver gilding is rubbed. There are some minor losses to the paintwork to both the base and lid and some scuffs to the basketwork but no significant condition issues.
A 19th century Staffordshire hen on nest egg cruet, chick showing, green band to top of nest, red comb. Length 24 cm. CONDITION REPORT: The item is in generally good order with no repairs or restoration. The lid is in good condition with no issues other than rubbing to the silver gilding and minor losses to the paintwork. The base has some glaze nibbles along the top edge of the basket which are more nibbles and rubs than chips. These are minor. There are also some small areas of loss to the paintwork.
