AN EDWARDIAN STERLING SILVER COMMEMORATIVE MODEL OF "THE KEMP LEOPARD", London 1902, Made by Edward Barnard and Son Ltd, formed as a leopard with head slightly turned, the body with textured decoration and chased spots, the collar engraved "Coronation 1902", numbered under one paw 72, the tail fully marked to the tip. 7.25ins long x 4.25is high. Note: Commissioned by The Skinner Company and made by Barnards. The guilded crest is a spotted leopard, referred as The Kemp Leopard, after Roger Kemp, who was Master of the Guild in 1680.
