A gold ring with clasped hands motif to the inside of the hoop, beast heads supporting a large oval bezel with raised rim, a tall carnelian cabochon with intaglio image of a standing robed female. See Fulford, M.G., Burnett, A., Henig, M. and Johns, C., 'A Hoard of Late Roman Rings and Silver Coins from Silchester, Hampshire,' in Britannia, 20, pp. 219-228.6.25 grams, 26.80mm overall, 20.44mm internal diameter (approximate size British P 1/2, USA 7 3/4, Europe 16.86, Japan 16) (1"). Ex Abelita family collection, 1970s-2000s. The ring has a good parallel with a complete gold ring with a large raised bezel set with a glass gem found near Silchester. The expanded shoulders have simple stylised small masks, as in the example of the Silchester ring, the bezel is a slightly octangular oval in plan, with projecting ribs at the angles. Very fine condition. A large wearable size.

No.5 of 2600 this beautifully presented book comes in a clamshell case and includes a signed and limited edition hand-made gelatin silver print. This copy has been signed by the author twice and has additionally been signed by Bill Wyman when at the book launch in 2008. Measures 17"x19"x5" and comes complete with all inserts. Very good condition with some minor wear to front cover of case.

The extremely hard to source UK stereo edition box set release of The Julliard String Quartet performing Mozart, the first 2 LPs on the original 'turquoise/silver' labels, the 3rd LP on the second 'semi-circle' label (common with this release). All three records are in top Ex+ condition showing very few marks to the playing surfaces and are indeed very clean. Complete with booklet in Ex condition. The outer box is in VG+ condition with a little 'bubbling' on the front, elsewhere a clean example.
