Rare Pre 1881 Royal Dublin City Militia (Queen’s Own Royal Regiment) Officers Helmet Plate, silvered Victorian crowned eight pointed star with laurel wreath laid upon, circlet with “QUEEN’S OWN ROYAL REGT”, black velvet centre with three silver castles. Three lug fittings to the reverse of the plate. Post 1881 regiment became the 4th Battalion Royal Dublin Fusiliers.
Scarce Victorian 1st Royal Regiment of Foot Forage Cap Badge, fine silver plated star with mounted gilt oval having the motto “NEMO ME IMPUNE LACESSIT” and “THE ROYAL REGIMENT” within, voided Order of the Thistle chain and St Andrew with cross set on blue enamel backing. Reverse has brooch pin fitting and central securing bar.
Victorian 46th (South Devonshire) Regiment of Foot Officers Shoulder Belt Plate 1830-55, copper brass rectangular back plate with silvered eight pointed star, brass wreath of half laurel and half palm with scroll to the bottom having honour “DOMINICA”, strap with “SOUTH DEVON” and centre having 46 on silver dome. Reverse of the plate has two hooks and two studs. The plate has been heavily polished, losing nearly all of the original finish.

Exceedingly Rare William IV The Suffolk Borders Yeomanry Partial Bell-Top Shako Plate Circa 1831-50, fine gilt oak leaf wreath mounted onto a damaged silver star backing. Voided circlet bearing the title “THE SUFFOLK BORDERERS”, to the centre William IV monogram on copper base. Two lug fittings fitted to the reverse of the plate. This plate forms the centre of the Officers Bell-Top shako plate of The Suffolk Borderers Yeomanry. raised in 1831 as one of the many yeomanry units raised throughout the country to combat the agricultural Swing Riots. This troop served without pay 1838-1843 and was finally disbanded in 1850. Probably only 4/5 officers in this troop throughout its history. An exceedingly rare plate that with careful restoration could possibly be one of the rarest British Military Badges in existence. (Ref: K D Pickup)

WW2 Polish 3rd Carpathian Division Badge, Insignia and Paperwork Grouping, consisting of white metal 3rd Carpathian Division screw back breast badge with F M LORIOLI makers mark, small collar screw back badge of the 3rd Carpathian division, silver 3rd Carpathian division combat badge with screw back fitting, Polish 2nd Armoured division breast badge with F M LORIOLI maker marked dish back, post war veterans badge, cloth 2nd Corps formation sign, pair of un-issued POLAND nationality shoulder titles and blue / black backed beret badge. Insignia is accompanied by British Army Soldiers Service and Release book for Aleksander Wojnicz with uniform photograph stuck into the front and stamped Discharged, membership card for Union of Polish War Disabled ex serviceman dated 1950 in the same name but appears to be a different person from the photograph, Polish Travel Document (Passport), Polish Ladies Certificate of Registration, piece of shrapnel and Sports medal. Interesting grouping possibly belonging to two different people of the same name. (16 items)

Imperial German State Officials Pickelhaube, black leather shell with white metal eagle helmet plate having brass eagle to the centre with silver horse within a shield to its chest. White metal scaled officers leather backed chinstrap. Prussian state and national officers cockades. Cruciform cross base with brass securing stars and white metal officers tall spike. White metal back trim and white metal trims to front and back peaks. Leather sweatband and officers style lining to the interior. Helmet remains in good overall condition.
WW2 Royal Scots Officers Tam O’Shanter, fine officers quality example with superb silver (not hallmarked) and enamelled badge set on tartan background. The badge has two lug fittings and William Anderson Edinburgh makers mark to the reverse. Woollen ball to the top, ribbed cloth edge and officers quality lining. Interior retains the original tailors label with inked name “E.CHALMERS FAHMY”. Evidence of service wear but overall a very good example.
East Lancashire Regiment Officers Dress Tunic, of scarlet cloth with blue / black velvet collar having silver wire tress decoration. Cuffs also in blue / black velvet with silver wire tress decoration. Seven of the eight silvered regimental tunic buttons remain to the front of the tunic. Twist cord shoulder boars with single bullion rank star to each. Good quality quilted cloth lining to the interior of the tunic. Some scattered moth tracking but otherwise good condition.
Adolf Hitler Personal Silverware Cigarette Box, fine example produced by Bruckmann in 925 silver. The box lid has political style down winged eagle and swastika with A H either side. Box is mounted on silver feet. Cedar wood interior with dividing section. Measures 16cm x 12cm. Very good overall condition. Formal silverware was produced for the German Reich Chancellery, Berghof and other residents where official engagements were held with Adolf Hitler. The silverware was produced by Bruckmann and Wellner and all had the monogram of Adolf Hitler. Much of this silverware was liberated by the American and British forces in 1945. In the TV series “Band of Brothers”, they show a scene of American Paratroopers form the 101st Airborne liberating such items.

This item would have been presented by Hermann Goring or Luftwaffe officials to dignitary’s during official engagements.
Silver Cigar Cutter Presented by Hermann Goring, .925 silver example with the monogram of the Goring family to one side and the other side engraved with the signature Hermann Goring. Remains in very good condition. This item would have been presented by Hermann Goring to dignitary’s or friends during official engagements.
Great War George V Military Medal (M.M) Group of Four Machine Gun Corps Cavalry Late 12th Lancers, group consists of George V Military Medal “41891 SJT A J JONES MGC”, 1914-15 star “5497 PTE A JONES 12-LRS”, British War and Allied Victory medals with rank of “SJT”. Medals remain in good overall condition. Sergeant Arthur James Jones enlisted in the 12th Lancers 4th June 1914, serving in France from 18th October 1915. He transferred to the 5th Cavalry Squadron Machine Gun Corps on its formation in February 1916. 5th Cavalry Squadron MGC was made up of Machine Gun elements of 2nd Dragoons, 12th Lancers, 20th Hussars and E battery Royal Horse Artillery. Sergeant Jones was discharged as a result of a gunshot wound to the right thigh. He was awarded the Silver War badge with number MGC/588. Military Medal appeared in the London Gazette 24th January 1919. We believe that the award of the MM was for service during the battle of the Somme.
WW2 German Iron Cross 2nd Class complete with the original Deschler & Sohn blue paper packet. Cross is retained in the original tissue paper and remains in mint condition with all the original finish remaining. Ring stamped with number 1. Complete with length of original ribbon. Accompanied by an Imperial German black wound badge, 800 gilded silver medal featuring Cologne Cathedral, bronze patriotic medallion and two German coins. (6 items)
Luftwaffe 1st Pattern Dress Dagger, being a first type with nickel silver fittings. Blue leather grip with wire. Remains of the gilt to the swastika in the top pommel. Cross guard has lost all of the gilt wash from the swastika. Housed in the original leather covered scabbard with hanging chains. Un-marked double edged polished blade. Some wear to the exterior and surface marks to the blade.
Third Reich SA Dress Dagger, complete with the original grip containing nickel silver eagle and enamel SA device. Complete with the original scabbard. Attached to the scabbard is the original leather hanging strap which has RZM mark to the metal clip. Blade has etched motto Alles fur Deutschland and RZM MT/13 trade mark to the base. Blade has some surface staining and exterior fittings show some wear.
