No signs of any previous erasures, the hallmarks are mostly rubbed. The hinged lid opens and shuts good and tight.

Condition Report It is heavily tarnished throughout, the handle is very slightly bent, there are a few fair size dents to the silver edges of the surround of the mirror, otherwise ok.

Larger box is in better condition with a couple of dents to one end, the hinged cover opens and shuts however when closed it is slightly sunken. Both boxes are heavily tarnished.
A European shaped oval hinge lidded snuff box, with scroll and partly fluted decoration, the hinged lid mounted with blue, green and red cabochon gems (one a faceted replacement) length 7cm and a lady's silver and pale blue enamelled wrist compact, fitted with a mirror within, London 1924, mounted to a ribbon, (2). 6832 and 6834 Condition Report The box: The gems are offered as coloured cabochon pastes, one red one is replaced with a faceted garnet. The hallmarks are a bit rubbed. The hinge is in good condition. No dents. Would benefit from professional cleaning. Compact: Some spotting to the interior mirror, the enamel is in good condition apart from one or two tiny surface marks. There is the remains of a sticky label on the back. The wrist ribbon is assocated and perished, the buckle also does not match.

Condition Report Each piece is engraved with the initial 'S'. There are some slight surface scratching and nicks consistent with limited use. There are a few scratches to the two carving knife blades. The set is made by C.J Vander Limited. The handles to the knives and carving impliments are hollow. The cabinet: the bottom drawer has a spare compartment possibly to hold associated items such as napkin rings. There is some light corrosion to the lock plates. The three keys are rusty, otherwise one or two surface marks to the outside consistent with age and use.
