The venue for the Games was Shepherds Bush Stadium, (later White City), the Games having been transferred from Rome following the eruption of Mount Vesuvius. In an outdoor event, Mr.Tysall won the medal for combined efforts on the apparatus including fast and slow high bars, flying rings and rope climb.
