WILLIAM COMYNS; an Edwardian hallmarked silver and inlaid tortoiseshell heart shaped trinket box, the hinged lid decorated with swags and harps enclosing a velvet lined interior, with twin ring apertures above a vacant shield shaped area, overall raised on four leaf decorated scrolling feet, London 1906, length 8.5cm, width 8cm, height 4.5cm, approx 8g.Additional InformationTortoiseshell good condition as is the inlay to the top, the lid is very slightly sprung when closed, both lid and base are hallmarked, tarnishing and toning throughout with very minor surface scratches and dents.  The leather base of the box is not quite 100% fitting to the surround and very slight misshaping to the feet.  The interior velvet requires re-gluing at the tip point of the harp.  Overall in good order.

Solid gauge to the cartouche and overall a good example.

HENRY WILLIAMSON LTD; an Edwardian hallmarked silver needle case of rounded rectangular form, with embossed decoration to the hinged lid and body, Birmingham 1903, length 9cm, width 2.8cm, height 2.5cm, approx 41.5g.Additional InformationTraces of original gilding to the interior, clear hallmarks to lid and base.  The lid closes correctly, a few small dents to the raised corners, if looking at the back of the case with the lid open the hinge point to the left has a small hole next to it and is slightly misshapen.  Small dent to the cartouche, general surface wear throughout.

An Edwardian oval hallmarked silver lidded box, with foliate scroll embossed decoration to the hinged lid, hallmarks obscured but with engraved presentation to the lid, indistinct initials and date Nov.5.1907, length 8cm, width 4cm, height 2.5cm, approx 34.8g.Additional InformationDent to where the initials are engraved, traces of the original gilding as detailed.  The hallmarks are rubbed, tarnishing and toning throughout and slight misshaping to the cribbed rim.

THE ALEXANDER CLARK MANUFACTURING COMPANY; an Edwardian hallmarked silver and inlaid tortoiseshell trinket box of rectangular form, the hinged lid decorated with an urn and scrolls enclosing a pleated silk interior and raised on four cabriole supports, Birmingham 1910, length 7.75cm width 5.5cm, height 5cm, approx 104.2g.Additional InformationTortoiseshell in good condition as is the inlay, the silk is dirty but intact, action closes well, tarnishing and toning to the silver, some tiny minute dents and some very light misshaping to the legs.  Hallmarks readable but makers mark very slightly obscured.  Around the edge of the lid where the tortoiseshell is within the silver slip there appears to be a small gap in some areas showing as holes but this is where the tortoiseshell finishes before the silver, it is only visible on two sides.

SOTHERS, ORCHARD & CO; an Edwardian hallmarked silver trinket box of rounded rectangular form, the engine turned decorated hinged lid with central vacant roundel enclosing a silk lined interior and with concave sides, Birmingham 1909, length 6cm, width 5cm, height 2.6cm, approx 66.1g.Additional InformationThe lid is slightly twisted and does not close properly and overhangs on one corner, small dent to the opposing front corner. Tarnishing and toning throughout, surface wear with tiny dents and some scratches throughout, the lid is slightly sprung and the leather base appears to have been pushed in slightly in the centre.  Hallmarks are clear.
