A Victorian silver tea service, of lobed form, chased and engraved with flowers and foliage, the domed lid to the teapot with bird finial, initialled L, teapot 22cm l, by Martin, Hall & Co, London 1877, 51ozs 18dwts Teapot with two small dents on one flute to opposite side of that which is initialled, but no evidence of erasure or thinning, etc. Chasing and engraving crisp on all three pieces. No repair. Marks good

Customs by the Ningpo Cummunity [sic] and Shipping after 27 years service September 1910, tray 28.5cm diam, tea service marked H C and in Chinese, tray marked C H and in Chinese and a pair of sugar bows, 58ozs 11dwts (6) Good condition except sugar bows, which are broken in two
