A rare elephant mahout's spike walking cane early 20th century, the ring turned and chased silver coloured handle with octagonal knop and wrist cord loop, the top twisting off to reveal a concealed steel spike, above an inversely tapering rustic polished wooden shaft, terminating in a silver coloured metal ferrule matching the handle, with blunt iron spike to the base, 35.5in. (90cm.) long.
