There is some patchiness and unevenness to the finish which is largely matt with glossy patches of varnish visible under raking light. In the extreme bottom right corner there appears to be a little shrinkage to the paint which has a slightly bubbly texture. A little discolouration to the upper left edge. Examined under UV light the patchy application of varnish makes it difficult to determine if any restoration has taken place. Please refer to additional condition images.

Top with loss of ivory moulding to right corner, several small losses to tortoiseshell inlay, Minor old restorations and small losses to chequered surround, some lifting of wood inlays and surround. Front with restoration to wood frame of front. Fittings for a fall front but not present, poor painted restoration to base bone inlay to left, wood patching where hinges were fitted and drilled holes, slight loss of bone moulding to upper left frame. Drawers a little tightly fitted. Each drawer inscribed to back in pencil with position. Possible replacements to some bone inlays.

A Victorian Archaeological Revival gold and turquoise bangle, with a cluster of pavé turquoise cabochons to the central round boss with applied wire and pellet decoration, and glazed locket to the underside, the hinged bangle similarly decorated with applied crescents and pellets, centre diameter 3.6cm, bangle width 1.4cmCondition Report: Gross weight 48.99 grams. Spherical end possibly missing from base of bangle. One section of twisted wire missing from the base of the bangle. Some minor discolouration to a few of the turquoise. One slight ding to the outer edge of the centrepiece and a slight dent to the underside of the bangle near one of the hinges. Some of the spheres at the clasp and hinges show signs of previous repair. Surface marks/scratches/light tarnish in places.

A 19th/early 20th century Indian painted pen box of rectangular form with rounded sides naively decorated with animal decoration 28cm x 6cm x 5cm together with an early 20th century walnut cigarette case, the lid with incised geometric decoration, 9cm x 9cm and 19th century probably Indian papiermache spherical string box, decorated with floral decoration, 9cm high (3) Further details; Indian box - some flaking to the leading edges and a couple of minor chips but otherwise in good overall condition. Cigarette box - light surface scratches, couple of dents on the reverse but otherwise in good overall condition. String box - wear to the decoration and a few holes and splits.
An early 19th century French Napoleonic prisoner of war work carved bone cribbage board. Inset with small tortoiseshell roundels, plus concentric circle patterns. A small diamond shaped tab to one end may mean that it started life as the lid from a box. A modern piece of wood has been tacked into place at one end, thus making the board will tilt. Approximately 11.9cm x 3.2cm. Condition: normal light wear commensurate with age and wear. Plus, an unusual 19th century miniature shuttlecock, with alternating pink and white feathers, and a carved bone head - approximately 5.3cm height. Good condition. And, a late 19th / early 20th century porcupine quill box, with small inset bone roundels, and a sliding lid. Contained within the quill box is a set of Chinese domino cards. Box size approximately 17.9cm x 9.5cm x 4.4cm. Condition: some quills missing or loose to the lid and sides, but generally solid construction.
A late 19th / early 20th century scratch built model of the mid 19th century clipper, ‘The Blue Jacket’. With black and gold painted body, and a planked deck. Complete with metal fittings that allow the attachment of masts and bowsprit (the aperture for the masts is currently sealed with cork stoppers). On the deck are two viewing windows that reveal some carved and painted figurines of blue jacketed sailors (hence where the ships name comes from), with another window showing the Captain and his wife, plus more sailors. Upon the deck is a turned brass compass. The boat sits upon a single wooden stand. Approximately 89cm length bow to stern, width 21cm. Condition: some age related wear. Some paint chipping and bubbling in places, and some light knocks to the wood.
A scarce WW1 era silver and enameled fighter plane brooch. Fully hallmarked for Birmingham 1917, with the makers mark for G. Loveridge & Co. Vibrant light green enamel to the wings and fuselage, along with the familiar red enamel targets to the wings. Small fixed propeller to the front. Complete with round hinge and C clasp to the reverse side. Approximately 3.4cm length and 2.9cm width across the wings. Condition: very good. Undamaged enamels to the front, and clear hallmarks to the reverse side. Good working pin and catch.

A late Georgian era miniature model of a a sailing boat, housed in a purpose built glass and mahogany case. The vessel is simply painted in black, yellow and red, with delicate twine rigging. Glazed to the front and sides with a solid back, and resting on 4 ivory disc feet, and with 5 small turned ivory finials to the top (the 6th one missing). Inked inscription to the underside, reading ‘Christmas 1825’. Approximately 14cm width x 12.5cm height x 5.7cm depth. Condition: generally very good. Missing one of its small ivory finials as mentioned above. A few old light contact marks to the wood in places, but nothing that detracts. The glass is in perfect condition. A large collection of late 19th or early 20th century British regimental embossed letterhead crests, with some using thermographic printing. Including the 17th Lancers, the Yorks & Lancaster Regiment, the Gloucestershire Regiment, the 5th Royal Irish Lancers, West India Regiment, 7th Dragoon Guards, 2nd Warwicks (24th Foot), 19th Hussars, Royal Dublin Fusiliers, Royal Scots Fusiliers, Inniskilling Dragoons, the 1st Glamorgan Volunteer Artillery, Leicestershire Regiment, Army Hospital Corps, 6th Royal Regiment, Argyll & Sutherland Highlanders, Sherwood Foresters, Royal Irish Rifles, Depot Medical Staff Corps, the Durham Light Infantry, and many more. Many are printed on laid paper, and all are cut to small discs (all approximately 3.8cm diameter). Well in excess of 100 individual crests. Condition: good. A little darkening to the paper on some of the examples, but largely very good condition throughout.
A pair of 20th century vintage 'Wildsmith of St James's, London' dark treen shoe trees, each approx. 32.2cm long, along with a slightly smaller lighter wooden example, approx. 24.4cm long, and another even smaller example, also light wood, approx. 18cm long. An 18th century heart shaped enamel pill box, Bilston, pale blue ground and the top with a floral border with two doves sitting on hearts, and inscription "Take this for a Kiss", circa 1760-70, approx. 5.5cm x 4.5cm diam x 3cm high. Condition: some small chips and light wear to inside, some nibbles and scuffs to outside.
