Colours good, with light and consistent fading. Knobs appear original. Minor age wear, especially to feet.

Crown is probably replacement and not marked as Omega. Dial good. Glass with minor scuffs and age wear. Case good, light age wear only.
DICKENS Charles, Our Mutual Friend, London 1865, first edition 2 vols bound in one, 8vo, contemporary half calf, 40 plates, 'pricipal' p.115; All The Year Round, vols 4, 5 and 6, London 1860 to 1862, half calf, includes complete serialisation of Great Expectations, Wilkie Collins No Name, and Bulwer Lytton's A Strange Story (4) Condition Report / Extra Information Our Mutual Friend - binding sound but rubbed at extremities, bookplate of John South Phillips MA, front pasted down end-paper, book sound and tight but there is some light foxing on some of the plates and occasionally on the text pages (which is more noticeable to naked eye than that on the images). All the Year Round - bindings sound and tight but rubbed at extremities, some light foxing in places (particularly on end-papers and prelims).

Both very grubby. UV light shows no restoration. Paint good and stable. No craquelure or breaking out. Boards good, no splits.

An Edwardian silver baby's rattle, of lyre shape, with mother of pearl handle, maker William Vale & Sons, Birmingham 1910; together with two other silver and mother of pearl baby's rattles (3) Condition Report / Extra Information No engravings or monograms. The two similar rattles both have a fine crack to the handle. The single example - silver split to seam, rattle badly dented. All with light age wear.
A late Victorian yellow gold sapphire and diamond cluster ring, the claw set antique cushion cut sapphire within a surround of twelve old brilliant cut diamonds, the shoulders with scroll chasing, size J- Condition Report / Extra Information No certificate. Date letter worn, Birmingham assays late 19th century. Sapphire of light colour, some inclusions. Diamonds - we would assess colour as H-I, clarity generally good, some minor inclusions. Shank with some wear but good and firm. Setting good. No apparent repairs.
