An ornate 19th century brass lamp base, the gilt metal base decorated with a lady before a castle, on griffin supports, below an etched cut glass column, 49cm highOverall condition looks to be complete. Some light marks, but no obvious damage or repairs. Thread has been replaced to the base. No fitting for the top, just a thread. Has not been drilled as a lamp base.

A 1920's mahogany cabinet on chest, on cabriole legs92w x 49d x 145h cmOverall condition is solid and usable but scruffy. Various light marks and knocks to corner and edges mainly. Top has slides inside and lifts off the base easily. Drawers run ok. Handles are complete. Has a key. Collected from a house where it was being used so is unrestored.
A Regency mahogany and ebony strung sofa table, with a hinged top, on a splayed base93w x 68d x 71h cmOverall condition is complete, usable and solid. Drawers run ok and has a key. Handles replaced. Some ebony stringing missing. Drawers split in the base. Various light marks, signs of use and wear from use. Collected from a house move, so has not been restored. Timber is well figured. Leaves lift up as they should.
An Edwardian mahogany and satinwood banded breakfront library bookcase, with astragal glazed doors, over panelled doors, on a plinth base183w x 42d x 220h cmOverall condition is solid and usable. Some light signs of use/age, with light marks and dirt, but no obvious damage or repairs. Glass is intact. Some small dents to the moulded edge to one side. Has additional glass shelves made to fit inside. Unrestored as was collected from as house clearance where it was being used. Has a key. Comes into sections so it can be easily moved.
A 19th century spelter mystery clock, in the form a classical figure, holding aloft a ball clock, on a wooden base, signed Louis Moreau, 79cm highLooks to be complete, but dirty, with quite a few light marks. The surfaces are dull and tarnished and the wooden base is worn and marked. The movement winds ok, but it does not seem to run for very long.
Hornby (China) renumbered BR black Steam Locos with extra detail added to each loco (1) 4-6-0 S15 Class renumbered 30826, 72B shed plate added to smoke box door, real coal to tender, screw link coupling to front buffer beam with medium weathering added, (2) 2-8-0 42XX Tank Loco renumbered 4266 86C shed plate added to smoke box door, real coal added to bunker and light weathering applied to loco, all detailing has been professionally applied, conditions are Excellent to Excellent Plus in Excellent original boxes. Hornby O Gauge E120 Special Tank Goods Set with a 0-4-0 Tank Loco LMS maroon No.15500, 20 volt electric. First version of the electric No.1 Special Tank Loco No.15500 circa 1934/35, some light retouching to offside Tank side, smoke box door has been changed to the non-bulb holder type. Overall Good Plus together with Goods Wagons LMS Open, Royal Daylight Tanker and LMS Brake Van together with a box of track clips and a oval of tinplate 3-rail track. Also includes instructions in Good but grubby box.
Hornby O Gauge E220 Special 4-4-0 Loco and Tender LNER green "Bramham Moor" No.201, 20v electric. Loco and tender are late issue circa 1939/40 with matt finish, both loco and tender are grubby and would benefit from a light clean, one locomotive driving wheel with fatigue although mechanism turns freely. Good.

The seventh edition is formed of the bound-up sheets of the first edition of 1740 with a cancel title-page and is the only edition with the Withy imprint; ESTC records only one copy (Queen's University, Kingston, Ontario). The work was first printed in America in Boston in 1747 and by Benjamin Franklin in Philadelphia in 1749 (both very rare); there are no copies of this 1774 edition in UK libraries.
