An 18th century oak dresser of good colour and pleasing small proportions: the shelved superstructure above a base section with three frieze drawers with stamped brass ovals, wavy-style frieze below and with vertical stiles united by a potboard style stretcher (155.5cm wide x 37cm deep x 186.5cm high)Appears a little bleached on the front, splits coming in from the lower part of the pot boards, evidence of some historic woodworm along the front. the base light and dark in places, some water splashing, knocks and scratches etc. commensurate with age. The top a little darker, back boards appear to have split. The brass handles have been on for some time although not original. Would benefit from light restoration.

A large pair of French gilt-metal-mounted ceramic two-light electric wall appliques: panelled and decorated with Watteau-style figures in romantic surroundings with ruins and a lake, the courting couples seated beneath trees; the appliques surmounted with gilded bows above the two branches; 'Lille' painted marks to each back (43 cm x 22.25 cm)The candle arms have darkened considerably with age and so have the riven surmounts on each. Some glaze crazing to reverses, the mounted support loop looks original and is gilded, some minor gilt rubbing. No 'major' problems.
An unusual pair of late 19th century two-light brass wall sconces in Arts and Crafts style: each with a central serpent holding the two candleholders against a waterlily style veined leaf, each with suspension loop and each with registered number RD42139 (42.5cm high x 30cm widest) (2)Condition Report: Holes to back plate’s possibly indicating missing parts. Candle sconces drilled for electrical conversion.
A late 19th century Dresden two-handled chocolate cup and cover with original conforming stand, each piece typically gilded and hand-decorated in enamels with scenes of lovers in countryside surroundings, conjoined AR marks to underside of cup and saucer, the finial on the cover modelled as a flowerheadCondition Report: Rubbing to gilding in base of saucer. No restoration detected under UV light. Good order commensurate with age and use.
A pair of early 20th century (circa 1915 - 1930) Herend porcelain two-light table candelabra decorated with gilded leaves, printed marks to undersides (23 cm to top of ceramic candleholders excluding faux candles), together with four pleated silk shades (some damage) The candelabra are quite dirty but the damage refers to the pleated shades which are ripped in several places.
A Chinese light celadon jade pendant of convex form: yellow-metal mounted (stamped '375' to the suspension bale) with vertical Chinese characters and key fret pattern to top and bottom of jade (3.5cm, including suspension bale) Condition Report: Stone in good order. Very minor surface scratches on gold commensurate with age and use.

Surface dirt and discolored yellow varnish, pentimento, retouching and over paint evident (refer to pentimento "ghost horse" image for this oil study). Laid on later associated panel and gilt frame with remains of "Dickhoff, Vergulder, Oppert 90 - Meent 35, Rotterdam" label (verso). Provenance: Private collection, Holland and United Kingdom. Completed original work of art in the collection of Rijksmuseum, Amsterdam. Two Horses in a Meadow near a Gate, c1649. Two horses stand on a little rise before a sweeping meadow landscape. The town of Delft in the distance. The animals’ fluttering tails and manes, and the low-lying clouds, signal that the weather is raw and windy. Potter enhances the liveliness of the depiction by placing a grey horse (refer to pentimento "ghost horse" image), before a dark boscage and the chestnut horse before a light, cloud-filled sky. Paulus Potter was born into an artistic family and exhibited a precocious talent as a young man. He exhibited his first painting dated 1640 at the age of just 15 years old. Patrons included Katherine The Great of Russia. Paulus Potter died of tuberculosis at the age of 29. Tayler & Fletcher require cleared funds before this item can be released to the Buyer
