A 19th century silver plated two-light candelabra in high Neo-Classical style; the central lidded urn flanked by two candle arms headed with patera and swags and similar decoration to the main body, raised on square spreading foot headed with ram's heads with further swags (23.5cm highest x 25.6cm widest)
An unusual hallmarked silver gentleman's travelling shaving brush; the lid pulling off and the brush extending outwards, the cylindrical body with engine-style turning, assayed London 1888 (7.25cm, total weight approx. 53.9g)Condition Report: The brush pushes up through the base, all engine-turned decoration to the circular cover and main body. There are some very light mis shapes to the edge of the circular covered top. The main body looks good generally but there is a very minor indentation to the bottom which is difficult to see without being very close.

James Hardy Jr. (1801-1889) The Anglers Signed, pencil and watercolour heightened with white, together with a further companion example by the same hand depicting a horse, cart and figures, 17.5cm by 27.5cm (2) See illustration each in broadly good clean and bright state of preservation. example featuring the anglers has a small slightly discoloured patch immediately above the central standing firgures head approx 1cm from top edge and a further slightly discoloured patch to upper right hand corner approx 1cm from upper edge. these may have been retouched (?) light surface dirt. there is a cluster of marks or scratches or paper being revealed underneath in and around standing figure to background an to the sky which may or may not be original to the execution of the picture. small cluster of nics or indentations to surface of upper left hand corner some light surface dirt. example with horse cart subtle cockelling to sheet colours good and bright. not examined out of frame

Robert Cleminson (fl.1864-1903) Spaniels with the day's bag Signed, oil on canvas, together with a companion, 39.5cm by 60cm (2) . Example with the sportsman's basket - In an overall good and original state of preservation. The canvas is somewhat loose on the stretcher and is very slightly buckled in places. Horizontal rub mark along top edge from slip. Small vertical canvas tear/losses within the left wing of game bird next to dog's head which is approx 0.5mm in length and less than 0.5mm across. Some very minor rubbing to other edges. Small patch of flaked paint within the rocks on the right hand side edge in line with the hind legs of the standing dog. There is a further very small area of flaked paint within the area between the recumbent dog and the standing dog. Very small loss/losses within the undergrowth approx 10cm directly above the signature. Light surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Second example - The canvas is in a similar state of slightly loose repair (does not have the tare/loss). Some general light rubbing/abrasions to outer edges. There are a relatively few small amount of small/tiny essentially individual losses/flaked paint including just above the mountains on the right hand side, the vegetation within the far foreground and the area between the recumbent dog and the Rabbits. There are a handful of further areas of flaked paint just above the lower edge etc... Relatively light surface dirt and discoloured varnish. Otherwise each in reasonably good and stable condition. Not examined with a UV light.

Follower of Sir Anthony Van Dyck (1599-1641) Portrait of a young lady, head and shoulders, wearing a blue satin dress embellished with pearls, in a feigned oval Oil on canvas, 73cm by 62cm See illustration . In fully restored condition, relined, cleaned and re-varnished with a relatively high gloss finish. much of the background, particularly the oval cartouche show extensive retouching and overpainting. there is a relatively minor amount of delicate infilling to two main patches of old flaked paint within the sitters chest area. More extensive cleaning resulting in likely losses and later overpainting is evident consistently throughout the dress and drapery, particularly around areas of creasing and shadow. lightly repaired V shaped repair with associated retouching approx half way down sleeve of the sitters left hand arm and approx 1-1.5cm on each side. the odd very minor retouch evident to old flaked paint within the face which otherwise remains intact. covered in a light layer of dirt and discoloured varnish, subtle stretch shadow especially to right hand side. the paint is flat and thin as a result of the restoration process, most evidently within the background and garland. varying sized stable craquelure throughout , more prominent within the flesh tones. superficial abrasion within centre background left hand side in line with the sitters eyes, odd further circular abrasion top edge centre. slight abrasion to varnish towards lower left hand corner otherwise ina stable and presentable condition.

A Late 17th Century Oak Straight Front Chest of Drawers, the moulded top above three conforming drawers and moulded base with turned bun feet, 89cm by 49cm by 84cmLater feet. Fairly uniform but light colour throughout. The top section with natural gap between the boards. Various bruising/faults around the moulding consistent with age. Locks replaced. All drawers are open.
A Late George III Mahogany Linen Press, early 19th century, the moulded cornice above moulded oval panel doors enclosing hanging space and formerly fitted with trays, the base of two short and two long drawers above an arched apron, on splayed bracket feet, 141cm by 58cm by 206cmThe cornice is removable and the cupboard doors are straight. The interior trays have been removed and enclosed are two brass poles, one at the top and one fitted to the front. Fairly uniform but light colour. Reasonable cosmetic condition throughout with the exception of the moulding in the middle to the left-hand side which is split. The right-hand with sections of timber missing around the middle (see images).
