We cannot guarantee the accuracy of its timekeeping. The watch is in very original condition, retaining it's box and paperwork which includes the guarantee and service/ manual booklet. The brown leather strap may be original and still retains what would appear to be the original buckle. The case is in very good condition, no dents or scratches. The back has the original presentation inscription which reads 'Presented to Douglas R Goodchild by Desoutter Brothers Ltd in appreciation of Long and Loyal service 1938-1959' Dial in good original unrestored condition with light staining and foxing

Gentlement's Rolex Oyster Perpetual Air King-Date Precision stainless steel wristwatch, the circular brushed satin finish silver dial with centre sweep seconds and date aperture at three o'clock position, baton hour markers in circular stainless steel case, on canvas strap. Serial number indistinct, appears to be numbered 1547271, case 34mm diameter CONDITION REPORT The watch is currently running, the threaded winding-crown screws down tightly and the hands adjust correctly too. We cannot guarantee the accuracy of the timekeeping. The dial is very clean and in very good condition. The plastic glass may not be original and would benefit from being replaced as it is very scratched and has a small crack. The case is in fair condition with light surface scratches, pin-head size dent to the bezel near 9 o'clock position, wear commensurate with age. The engraved serial number is very worn, probably from wear but is decipherable, the model number is too worn to read. Not a Rolex bracelet or clasp. No box or papers
