More was described as his "rival" in British cinema at the time, although Gregson tended to appear in fewer comedy films and more dramas. He also appeared in the Ealing comedies Whisky Galore! The Lavender Hill Mob and The Titfield Thunderbolt. His best known drama films include The Battle of the River Plate, Angels One Five and Above Us the Waves. A pair of 19th century English porcelain vases, painted flowers and with gilt decoration on paw feet, 14.5 cm high (2) See illustration Condition report Report by RB Vase No 1 (left, as on the image). Generally pretty good, light rubbing to the gilt decoration. It has a ball shaped terminal, which is hidden behind the foot in the illustration, the underside of the feet are fully glazed. Vase No 2 (the right hand one on the image), gilt slightly rubbed, no ball terminal, although where there should be it is glazed over, so therefore not chipped or missing, the underside other feet are not fully glazed, unlike its pair.
A Beswick Boy's Pony, rocking horse grey, 1480, gloss (nibbles) See illustration Condition report Report by NG Small nibble to back right hoof, also to front left hoof which has a small firing fault to the front of it also. The right hoof also has another small firing fault, small nibble to tip of right ear. Air hole which has been pushed into belly and now causing the pony to rattle. Oval Beswick England stamp to base. Light crazing.
A Beswick Dairy Shorthorn Cow, 1510, gloss (hoof chipped) Condition report Report by NG Light crazing. No visible restoration. Front left foot chipped in a couple of places. Also small nibble to back right hoof. Two feet with material pads on them. Belly with oval Beswick mark and stamped name. Also chip to tip of her right ear.

Dinky Toys 344 Plymouth Estate Car, light brown with maroon panels & cream hubs, G (small paint chips to front bumper & scuff marks to bonnet) in F/G box (some wear to end flaps & corners). Together with 132 Packard Convertible, mint green with red interior & hubs, undamaged windscreen, driver, VG (few minor scuffs to bonnet & boot lid, loss of paint to driver's head) in F box (damaged flap and tear to one end). Pair of Norah Wellings 1930's cloth children dolls, with molded felt faces and painted features, Norah Wellings labels to wrists, girl with blue glass eyes, blonde wig, blue felt dress with matching shoes and bonnet, boy with painted eyes, brown curly wig, blue felt shorts, matching cap, knitted jumper and black shoes. Height 46cm approx. A delightful pair in VG condition, some light fading/discolouration and wear to clothing.

A Swedish art glass vase by Strömberg Shyttan, inscribed and No'd. to base "B999C895" CONDITION REPORTS Approx 22.5cm w x 15.5cm high. Light general wear and scuffs. Glue visible to base where fabric pads have slipped. A few little marks/blemishes in and on the glass, but generally appears OK.
A five branch glass Venetian style ceiling light fitting decorated with flowers and leaves, the light shades formed as opening flower heads CONDITION REPORTS Wear, dirt, yellowing and scuffs. A few frits, but glass fitments appear to be complete and generally the glass appears in reasonably good condition.
