WALTHAM; a 9ct yellow gold full hunter crown wind pocket watch, the enamel dial set with Roman numerals and subsidiary seconds dial, diameter 50mm, approx weight 96.1g.Additional InformationWhen wound the watch does run although this is no guarantee of working order, the are numerous dents and knocks to the case, light wear and scratches.

A group of five Japanese Meiji Period three tone polished bronze vases, comprising a slender slightly ovoid example decorated with a chicken on a branch, height 22cm, a similarly decorated smaller pair, height 18cm, and a small pair decorated with bamboo, height 12cm, all five signed.Provenance: private collection in Surrey.Additional InformationThe two smaller vases have several dents around the base and also some small dents to the bodies and light surface scratches. The second pair, one has a bruise towards the top of the shoulder and a couple of tiny pin head sized dents, the other one has a single small dent approx. 3mm to the body and general surface wear throughout. The taller single vase has light surface wear, light scratches but otherwise OK.

Top with a patina of scuffs and light scratches and marks throughout through use. Corners, sides and feet with knocks and scuffs. Many scratches to the lip at the bottom of the doors. A few scratches to both doors.
BLANCHARD’S EGYPTIAN MUSEUM, an Egyptian scarab on an onyx base, the underside with a label from Blanchards Museum Cairo which states ‘Heart Scarab, Period XXI-XXII Dynasty’, and with label to the side ‘R892’, overall length 6cm. Sold with a copy of a letter from The British Museum dated 8th January 1973. (2)Additional InformationThe date of the scarab is unknown. General light wear tot he scarab and the base. The label is believed to be original. The letter does not confirm the age of the scarab but does state that Blanchard had a large collection of scarabs which were dispersed after his death.

LIBERTY & CO; a Cymric Edwardian Art Nouveau hallmarked silver bonbon dish with three swept supports, Birmingham 1903, height 5cm, width including scrolling support approx. 15cm.Provenance: private collection north-west.Additional InformationGood clear hallmarks, very light surface wear. Where the pierced heart shaped motifs are at the edge, all three have split to the rim, underneath one of the swept handles there is a tiny area of damage to the edge but these faults are being ultra critical.

The minute hand is slightly bent forward away from the dial. No restoration or damage to the dial. There is a minute chip to the glass. the clock ticks when wound and adjusts correctly. There is some fraying and deterioration to both the inside and outside of the case.
