A group of Chinese famille rose dishes, Qing, late 19th /early 20th century, comprising a small pedestal dish painted with four fish, a small octagonal dish on raised foot, with moulded decoration of the eight trigrams, engraved collectors mark to the underside, a circular sectioned dish painted with a cricket and flowers, two with Tongzhi seal marks, and two toilet boxes, each painted with figures, 8cm dia - 12cm diaAll free from any obvious chips, cracks or restoration. Other than light signs of use, all are in good order.

Small spots of emulsion paint to surface, with signs of light crcking to paint visible on close inspection. Some losses, splits and wear to the frame.

On slender shaped legs. 44.5 cm wide x 33 cm deep x 70 cm overall height.Private estateThe legs have been braced old and more recent metal braces due to the legs being broken or loose, you can see some poor colouring in the area where they would have come loose from.The drawers have been lined with paper from new this is missing from two of the drawers and these have been finished with a stain but they are periodThe bottom board has a light peppering of flight holes from historic woodwormSome of the cross-grain veneer on the dividers between drawers is missing and also a section of banding from the drawer front.The table is basically late 18th century but as mentioned above has been repaired over the years.

An N gauge layout very well built by Classic Baseboards comprising wooden baseboard very neatly crossed braced underneath, painted light grey overall size 52” x 38.5”, folds in half to 52” x 19.25”, comprising a double oval of track with two crossovers and five sidings. Rear part of layout is protected from the front by a wall to provide a fiddle yard. All points with point motor and switch. Wiring appears to be numbered for easy traceability. All control items supplied with layout. Track is not ballasted. With two new metal collapsible trestles.
