Insurance value - £21,500Excellent overall condition, all stones present, central stone has a good overall saturation of colour with no chips cracks or abrasions, stone is extremely brilliant and fiery with an excellent polish and very good cut grade, surrounding stones generally also bright white and fiery with a few small black spot inclusions and fractures only visible a loupe, settings in good condition with two join marks on back of shank which are generally well concealed, and there are two tiny splits starting to occur on the edge of these lines but ring is still very stable, hallmarks are quite rubbed, stamped 750

The Man with the Lotus Flower - there is a crack to the stem of the flower. Tiger - possiblly shoulld have had a base. All three have general wear and tear conduive with age and use to include some light scratching, discolouration and all are in need of a good clean. See images for more details.

A William IV silver wine funnel, the main body decorated with grape and vine, the rim gadrooned and with shell thumbpiece (by John Evans II, London 1835), 5.84 oz, 13 cm high CONDITION REPORTS Overall condition good though signs of oxidisation / dirt suggesting a clean could arguably be in order. Signs of light surface scratching particularly to the filter conducive with age and use. The base of the filter to the underside of the starburst design has some deliberate scratching - see images. Overall condition good.

An 18th Century Bow chinoiserie design tea bowl and saucer, tea bowl 7.5 cm diameter, saucer 12.5 cm diameter CONDITION REPORTS Saucer - appears to be in good condition throughout with some minor firing faults to the glaze, particuarly to the underside. See image. Tea bowl - basically looks in good condition. Some wear to the enamel particularly to the bird which may or may not be part of the original design. Under UV light no damage or restoration can be seen.

Frames have some minor scuffs and scrapes to the extremities. The frames are modern so suggest probably not original. Artist is ARTHUR DUDLEY (aka GIOVANNI BARBARO) (1864-1915), exhibited mainly 1880-1907. Estimate may be a little light!

A brass Tibetan style figure of the infant Shakyamuni Buddha, his right finger pointing at the heavens, his left finger pointing at the earth, stood upon a lotus flower, 16.5 cm high, together with a Japanese chocolate patinated bronze figure of an elderly dancer on a circular base, 20 cm high CONDITION REPORTS The figure of the child Buddha appears basically sound with surface scratching and small dents either as part of the original casting or conducive with age. The Japanese dancing figure has some slight denting to the base and light surface scratching conducive with age. The gilded areas are either dirty or worn, certainly less obvious to the naked eye. and missing something from his left-hand as you look at him. His right-hand as you look at it him possibly has been repaired. Both have wear and tear conducive with age and use. See images for more details.

A Shelley Art Deco tea service in the 'Sunset and Flowers' patternof Queen Anne shape, the service comprising teapot and cover, stand, hot water jug, cream jug, sugar bowl, six teacups, six saucers, six sideplates and a sandwich plate, printed factory marks in green, painted pattern number 16911 in iron red (25 pcs including cover)Condition report: Condition overall is very good, with just two damaged items in this lot:1. A teacup has got a small re-glued section near the upper terminal of the handle (photographed)2. The sugar bowl is badly cracked. (photographed)The remainder of the items are free from cracks, chips, damages or repairs. When looking closely with a loupe, several of the items have some very light or minor crazing - two teacups (just the bases); four saucers; one whole teacup (this is the one with the repair); cream jug with a small patch of crazing to the base; 1 side plate. Paying attention to the orange enamels, the service is in good order with no rubbing or losses, apart from the single side plate with crazing which has some wear to the sun (photographed).Signs of use are minimal, where scratches are present they are very light - e.g. one or two superficial marks to the cake plate.Please see the additional images.
