A Large Chinese Famille Jaune Vase: finely decorated with two sinuous dragons amidst flowering peony and chrysanthemum branches on a bright yellow ground between two bands of scrolling motifs on a light turquoise ground. Modelled as a sack, the neck tied with an enamelled ribbon. Further embellished with two applied gilt dragons chasing a flaming pearl H 48cm CONDITION REPORT: Hairline crack at rim both structurally sound, chip off at rim approx 8 x 8mm. Dragons firmly applied. Unsigned to glazed base.
