Exhibited: Derby, Midland Counties Works of Art Exhibition 1870 (label indistinctly inscribed Wheeldon) ++Dish in fine condition but for one or two light scratches to the painting, plate also in good condition with slight stacking wear to the glaze when viewed at an oblique angle to the light and wear to the gilding on the rim.
