Solie, 75 Faubourg St Honoré Paris case, with miniature screw driver Size/dimensions: 3.9cm longGross weight: 9.7 gramsCondition Report: There is some light wear, there is no noticeable repair to the panel, the stones are all present and correct, bright and lively. The case has some light wear commensurate with use and storage. There is a small void under the velvet lined panel where there would once have been a chain attachment, the mini screw driver is also under the panel. The velvet lining is probably replaced. CARLO & ARTHUR GIULIANO, A GOLD, RUBY AND SEED PEARL NECKLACE CIRCA 1900The graduated cabochon ruby drops with seed pearl pediments, with reeded barrel spacers between, on a chevron link chain to a hook clasp, stamped C&AG, in original case stamped C & A Giuliano 115 Piccadilly LondonSize/dimensions: 38.5cm longGross weight: 36.9 gramsCondition Report: The graduated cabochon rubies have a slight variation in colour, most have a slight pink tone, the hook clasp has a small patch of solder visible to the reverse of the the Carlo & Arthur Giuliano plaque, there is some light wear to the settings commensurate with age and use. It is impossible to see the wear between the chevron links in the chain, there are a couple of slight bends to the chains, but no noticeable breakages. One of the baton fastenings holding the hook has what looks like a blob of enamel on it- it is hard and doesn't pick off with a fingernail. The case has wear commensurate with age and use, discolouration to the interior and a split and repair to the hinge at the back of the case. Condition Report Disclaimer

The medal was returned in 1924 and reissued with the appropriate clasp.Only 230 Queen's South Africa medals were issued named to HMS Philomel, 152 of them were to seamen who remained on the ship and did not earn any bars. Rawle was one of only 30 men to be sent to Zululand earning the scarce Natal clasp.

A very rare early Tunbridge ware white wood paint decorated sewing companion in the form of a lighthouse, in three sections, the base painted with two pairs of panel doors below fan lights and a pair of arched bar glazed windows and unscrewing to reveal the original pin cushion, the centre section to house a thimble and painted with brickwork and circular windows, the top section as the light below a sloping roof with ball finial and housing a replacement tape measure, 4.7cms max dia., 12.5cms high.
