The Beatles debut LP 'Please Please Me' on black and gold Parlophone labels and in Mono. Possibly a crossover 2nd pressing the LP has the Dick James publishing credits and stampers XEX 421-1N GP and XEX 422-1N GH. Vinyl is in a VG condition with minimal wear and light hairline scratches. Sleeve has sellotape along the bottom edge to the reverse with sellotape to two corners on the front. Pen marks to reverse and lifting to the front foil. Corners of the sleeve are bent and worn.
Two early UK pressings of 'Waiting For The Sun' by The Doors and 'The Crazy World Of Arthur Brown'. Last tack on side one of 'Waiting For The Sun' has a scratch, otherwise VG. Sellotape to inside of gatefold and spillage marks on front cover. Arthur Brown LP is VG and light creasing to the clarifoil on the cover.
dating: Late 19th Century provenance: Ethiopia, Long cloak in bordeaux velvet, richly embroidered in gilded thread with floral and geometrical motifs, opening on the breast with small, brass buttons. Lined with light-blue cloth. Signs of use. Pants in brown velvet, legs richly embroidered in polychrome at the base and with small, brass buttons. Complete with a leather shield, covered with velvet (worn) and brass mounts. Wide, leather belt, with numerous places for cartridges. Fine and rare together. dimensions various cm.
dating: first quarter of the 20th Century provenance: Greece, Silver plate of the Grand Officer, partially gilded and enameled, with vertical brooch. Together with a gilded, silver collar, enameled (chip), complete with light-blue and white ribbon. In a box. dimensions 4,5 x 7,5 - 7,4 x 7,4 cm.
dating: 18th/19th Century provenance: Turkey, Khula khud with iron, hemispherical skull, with remains of gold inlays, provided with two plume-holders, sliding nose-piece and mail neck-defense with simple rings, border with fringes. Armour with iron, riveted rings. Breast-plate with four, iron plates, provided with buckles. Back-plate with iron scales. Together with a vest, tunic-type in light-blue fabric (more recent), embroidered in polychrome, with gold-inlaid cartouches at the forte, one of white carved with a six-tip star and one with inscriptions in Arabic. Brass quillon, horn grip scales. Mannequin not included. height as shown circa 180 cm.
dating: circa 1800 provenance: Naples, Smooth, two-stage, 18 mm cal. barrel, in damask, first part is octagonal with two 'G. OLIVA' marks inlaid in gold between lilies, after a ring and acanthus leaves it is round and provided with a silver, swallow-tailed front-sight, vent lined in gold; tang finely engraved with floral motifs; nice miquelet flintlock, signed 'F. SCARRAFONE' and engraved with floral motifs; wooden, full stock with checkered grip and palm-rest, barrel carved with garlands through all the length, one side with a big monogram 'AG' (?). Silver mounts with fine floral engravings, counter-plate with beamed fan and leaf, two silver barrel brackets. Iron ramrod with chiselled and decorated with light horn tip. length 129.5 cm.
dating: 19th/20th Century provenance: Different countries, Insiede: Order Nishan al-Iftikar, an imperial russian silver decoration for a fund raising (dated 1889?) stamped, Order of the Crown of Italy (knight's cross), Order of St. Mauritius and Lazarus (knight's cross), Order of Medjidie (III class), Order of Isabella I of Castile (officer's cross), two Italian medals for civil value (light build), Bronze medal 'Vittorio Emanuele II Association of Saviors Naples', Legion of Honor (knight), Order of St. Sylvester Pope (knight), Order of the Sun of Peru, a badge of the 'Accademia Tiberina', A cross 'Madonna Auxilium Christianorum'. Preserved in a display case lined in Moroccan leather decorated with golden imprints. dimensions case - closed 24 x 36,5 x 4,5 cm.
dating: early 20th Century provenance: Russia, In dark blue cloth, with red profiling and light-blue band, metal front badge, silvered and partially enameled in black. Leather, semi-rigid visor, lacquered in black on the external part. Small defects. Black, leather sweat band inside and lining in light-blue silk, with silvered stamp with imperial emblem and inscriptions in Cyrillic. height 13 cm.
dating: about 1890 provenance: Russian Empire, Light skull with blackened cardboard, with leather visor and neck-guard. A gilded imperial eagle on the front, above the shield with another silver crown. Spike with flames on a cross-bar, border finely engraved with floral motifs. Chin-strap with convex scales on buttons with embossed crown, cockade. Morocco leather inside and silk cap (both in bad conditions), the internal peak reinforced with a restored leather patch. Scarce. height 29 cm.
dating: End of 19th beginning of 20th Century provenance: Russian Empire, Jacket in white cloth with collar, sleeves and red profiles, neckline, breast and sleeves with stripes in gilded thread. Complete with epaulettes. Gilded buttons and with imperial eagle. Cuirass in light Tombak, with red profiling. Lined with white leather inside, breast with a label of Moscow re-seller. Very scarce. height about 70 cm.

Remains of Chatellerault manufacturer's marking and date 'Avril 1880' inside, size and serial number indications; remains of black painting inside. More light back-plate. With traces of marking inside as well (unreadable) and black painting. Leather straps, reinforced with brass rings. height 39,5 cm.
