A rare 19thC Mameluke Sword, made for the 87th Light Infantry Regt., The South Cork Militia, the cross guard set with an embossed 87 and an infantry bugle on eachside, in original brass scabbard engraved 'S.C.M.10', two piece ivory hilt with some damage and a plain fighting blade, overall length 39in (99cm).
Medals; Military General Service Medal, with clasps Nivelle, Nive and Toulouse, named to Captain Thomas Champ, confirmed on roll and correctly named, 43rd (Monmouthshire) Light Infantry of Foot, served Peninsular War with the 1/43rd and was present at San Munos, Nivelle, Nive, Tarbes and Toulouse, also served at Copenhagen 1807 and North America 1814-15, died 1851.
A 19th century oak dining chair with open strapwork back and elm seat, a 20th century mahogany open armchair with oval open back, shaped arms and cabriole supports, upholstered with an embroidery seat, 53 by 50 by 95cm high, and a 19th century open armchair with overstuffed light green seat. (3)
An important and rare Rockingham garniture of three stork handled baluster vases possibly by William Willis Bailey. With waisted and castelated necks and raised on acanthus scrolling bases. Ground in apple green and with burnished gilt banding, each with an octagonal panel finely painted with romantic landscape scenes named Sunsett, Morning and Evening. Puce griffin marks c1830, Largest 36.75cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Larger vase with an old repair to the left handle, rim chip with a short hair crack. One small vase with pieces re stuck to the rim. Gilt wear throughout and with some light enamel flaking.
A 19th century apprentice ebonized longcase clock by Thomas Robbins Chatham. With brass arch top dial ornamented with spandrels and having chapter ring, housing an eight day double fusee movement striking hourly on a bell, 74.5 cm. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Good condition, working. Some light splits to the case.
A mahogany cased brass "White Star" sextant by makers Lawrence & Mayo of London. With binoculars and telescope en suite. Label for Lawrence & Mayo The White Star Sextant, London and certificate for The National Physical Laboratory, dated 1918. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Both mirrors free from cracks. Metal frame free frame damage. Scale silvering with light wear. Two of the additional tubes each missing one lens. Other optics all free from cracks.
A 1796 pattern light cavalry officers sword in metal scabbard. Having shagreen grip and watered steel blade, length of the blade 87cm. Scabbard 89cm, blade 3.75cm broad. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Wooden collar missing from the scabbard, scabbard heavily pitted. Blade with some pitting. The cutting edge has been crudely ground. Handle in fair condition and firmly attached to the blade. No markings. Blade and scabbard straight.

To be used as a guide only. Good original condition. Heavy wear to the painted dial around the key hole with some other light scratches. Sold with pendulum and key. Crutch pin threads very loose. A Cotswold School light oak sideboard. With panelled delft rack and cupboard doors, having three drawers and raised on chamfered square supports, 153 cm wide, 157cm high, 46cm deep. Condition Report. To be used as a guide only. Polish heavily faded. Some slight water marks. No timber damage.
