No apparent or obvious repair or restoration. Some dirt, dust and wear, notably to the back and top of the head. Very minor slight hairline cracks to the odd area around the between the lotus leaves - - very minor and possibly a firing fault. Pencil mark to the back of the socle. Old glue attachment between the bust and socle is gradually wearing with a light gap appearing.

Campher wood blanket box, carved with Chinese scenes, tray slide to interior, label for Kam Wah Co, Hong Kong, width 102cm, depth 50cm, height 60cm.Condition report:Generally sound. Some surface scratches to the front, including two heavier scratches to the bottom border, and a light ring mark to the cover. No evident splits. The interior is clean, but obviously highly fragranced being camphor.

Continental mahogany and kingwood chest of drawers, Louis XV style, bombe form, with serpentine marble top, gilt metal appliques, width 99cm, depth 53cmm height 81cm.Condition report:Some small patch losses to the veneer, for instance on the bottom of the front apron, but in general it is in good condition. The top is clean and free of any chips or cracks. The chest itself is sound and free from any splits or substantial damages. Light staining to the drawer linings. The metal appliques are a little crude in the casting but that is down to the period of manufacture.
