A pair of French inspired gilt bronze and blue glazed porcelain 6 arm chandelier ceiling lights by Italian company F.B.A.I. Porcelain bodies produced by sister company Tiche Porcellane d’Arte. Painted gilt decoration top and base of porcelain. Arms modelled as swans with floral decoration to canopy, central band and base finial. Company name and serial number stamped to inside of canopy. Two hanging chain to one light, hanging chins missing from other.

The gran Tour of Europe was a popular thing to do from the 17th century to the early 19th century when Europeans would travel throughout various parts of Europe with Italy as a central part of the tour. Not only were buttons like this created for the Grand Tour but all kinds of items as souvenirs were created for the traveler. This example is a beautiful one with an ornate setting and is backmarked.
