The small plate has a repaired chip to the rim.

The small flagon jar is missing the handle and has a chip to the reverse of the rim. Staining to the furniture polish jar.
BLACK FOREST; a late 19th century carved wood spill vase modelled as a chicken and an egg, height 8.5cm, with an Anglo-Indian carved hardwood photograph frame, 28 x 22cm, and a carved wood tabletop easel decorated with edelweiss, height 25.5cm (3) Additional InformationThe Black Forest item with general scuffs and wear, loss to the tip of the beak of the cockerel, and grazing to the tips of the tail feathers. This may be an egg cup. The frame with minor wear and the hinge is weak at the back. The ease with light general age wear scuffs.
WATERMAN'S; a boxed black body fountain pen with matching ballpoint pen and a yellow metal clad fountain pen, badly af, (3).Additional InformationThe overlay pen has a broken section to the top which is missing, the nib is bent, heavy surface wear and tear throughout. The other pens, no guarantee to be in working order, they have a few teeth marks and light surface scratches.
A William IV inlaid mahogany tea caddy of shaped rectangular form, inlaid with pewter and mother of pearl detail, with two loop handles, width 34cm, and a 19th century mahogany tea caddy, the hinged cover enclosing three compartments (both af) (2).Additional InformationWilliam IV example is at fault, missing large areas of the moulded detail, also two feet, the escutcheon and glass mixing bowl, losses to the veneer. The mahogany example is at fault with a large repair to the back of the hinges, light scuffs, missing two of the internal finials, splitting and losses to the veneer.
AMERICAN INTEREST; a vintage brass and enamel decorated compact inscribed 'God Bless America' beneath the American flag, 7.5 x 6cm.Additional InformationVery minor surface scratches to the enamel, a couple of light hairline cracks also, but good colours and overall in good condition, some wear to the interior.
SATSUMA; a Japanese Meiji period koro and liner, lacking cover, a teacup and saucer, and two saucers, with a cloisonne koro and cover, two Kutani saucers, a Japanese blue and white plate, three carved hardwood vase stands, and a stone carving of a monkey. Additional InformationThe corrow is lacking cover, crazed throughout and with hairline crack and rubbing to the gilding. The teacup and saucer with crazing throughout and rubbing to the gilding, the other two saucers also in a similar condition. The Kutani saucers with rubbing to the gilding, and one with two chips to the rim, and a restored chip also. The vase stands with some sun fading and general rubbing. The corrow with a few light knocks and a small repaired blister to the blue panel.

Christie's Auctioneers, lot 259, sale 6006, 01/05/2012.Additional InformationOne with a slight chip to the slim yellow marble which the griffins rest upon and from this issues a hair line crack around one of the corners. The section is not detached or loose as the griffin sits on it. Both griffins with general age wear patina to the metal throughout and light age wear to the bases.

A mixed lot of 18th century and later Chinese porcelain with two blue and white meat plates including an example decorated with a variant of the willow scene, approx. 24 x 32cm, a coffee pot with intertwined handle, hand painted cherubs and three blue and white covers (6).Additional InformationLarger of the meat plates with an old rivet repair, the smaller with chipping to the edge and a slightly larger chip to one edge, light surface scratches but no cracks. Coffee pot is missing its cover and with extensive losses to the decoration and firing faults to the body. each of the covers is damaged.

A 19th century salt glazed two tone stoneware jar with moulded detail of lions, an arch, and floral detail surrounding the royal warrant, height 19.5cm, and a 19th century treacle glazed spirit flask impressed 'Ale' for James Crow, height 23cm (2).Additional InformationLight crazing and wear to each example, minor chipping to the glaze on the spirit flask, natural firing faults and scratches to the flask.

Additional InformationMinor wear but essentially good. A couple of the cups with minor nibbles to the underside of the foot rim. None of the items are marked as seconds. A few light glaze scratches and minor rubbing to the gilding but essentially OK.
A pair of 19th century treacle glazed flasks modelled as lady's boots with buttons to the side and vacant aperture above, unmarked, length 20cm.The form of these boots indicates that their intended use was also for candle holders as well as flasks.Additional InformationOne example with chip to top rim, general surface wear, light scratches to glaze throughout.

WALTER MOORCROFT; a large vase decorated in the 'Pansy' pattern, signed to base with further impressed marks to base, height 40cm.Additional InformationThe vase is very dirty and there is surface substance around the lower portion of the vase and also the rim but under UV light and close inspection there is no restoration or repair it is just dirty. Minor surface scratches.
ROYAL WORCESTER; a hand painted tea cup and saucer for Hadley's painted with roses, a Royal Worcester blush ivory trio, two Royal Crown Derby side plates including an example decorated with pattern no.1128, an Aynsley hand painted cup and saucer by Ann Brown and D Jones, and a similar dish.Additional InformationSmall chip to the point of the handle on the Worcester roses teacup, light wear throughout especially to the gilding in parts. The Aynsley dish with deep scratches to the glaze.
NOTTINGHAM; an 18th century salt glazed stoneware documentary mug, inscribed 'October 7th 1719', and additionally dated 1719 at the rim, decorated with three lines of sgraffito panels, height 13cm.Additional InformationThere is a section of the rim around where the date is which has an old break and repair, probably 19th century, the repair on the inside appears to be a patch repair with a membrane.This extends down to the first of the ridged bands. There are four hairline cracks running down from the rim of the mug and there are nine also chips and grazes to the rim of the mug. General light wear to the underside. Despite faults, overall ok.

Additional InformationThere are some light glaze scratches through use. Some minor rubbing to most pieces and heavy rubbing to a few. Two of the tea cups with hair line cracks.
