A rare 1930`s Dinky Toys South American export box- `Motor Cars 36 with drivers, passengers, footmen`. Code numbered BW 10892 3M 2-40. Box lid complete, now faded out to light grey, with applied paper label to top left hand corner `Jugueteria Burlando Hermanas Esmeralda 340 U.T. 85-Lib. 1534 Buenos Aires`. Box base in yellow paper covered cardboard with opening flap with set details identifying the contents. Fitted with cut-out insert in purple card. GC for age some splits to card base and some fading. A LARGE CUT CRYSTAL BOWL WITH SILVERED BRONZE STANDContinental/American, 20th CenturyThe large oval boat-shaped bowl having turned-up ends, a laurel leaf band around the lip, and a continuous floral branch below; the lower body faceted in leaf or petal form; the stand consisting of two arching foliate scroll handles attached to an oval base decorated with shells flanked by diaper patterns, all resting on acanthus decorated feet; no mark or signature on either piece.Condition: Bowl with light scratches on interior (from use) and exterior (where glass meets the metal frame). A PAIR OF BRONZE DORÉ MOUNTED SÈVRES PORCELAIN PEDESTAL TABLE LAMPSFrance, 19th CenturyEach cerulean vase-shaped lamp having two hand-painted reserves bordered by gilded decoration, the front sides depicting a courting couples in eighteenth century dress, the back sides with floral bouquets against a white ground, the feet with similar floral decoration; the vases are closed with swirling acanthus leaf necks and acorn detailed everted lips, the bodies are mounted with two foliate scroll handles each; all set on a pierced foliate scroll bases with bosses; with original turnkeys, now electrified, in working order. Condition: One floral reserve with a 3/8 inch gouge in a flower petal, now painted over but not infilled. A few tiny losses in cerulean ground here and there. Minor loss in one area of gilded frame around peasant couple reserve. Slight age-appropriate wear to gilded surface of bronze mounts. A FRENCH BRONZE DORE AND BLANC DE CHINE THREE PIECE CLOCK GARNITURE19th CenturyStamped 1855 Medaille d` Argent , Vicenti et Cie and “4951”, “51”. An enameled clock face with Arabic numbers sits behind a domed crystal cover with a ring of crystal beads which is supported by an open pagoda form body comprised of cast acanthus leaves and the roof a grouping swagged, graduated crystal beads. The supports of acanthus vines and allover white porcelain florettes of various species. Within the pagoda is a blanc de chine porcelain scene of seated and standing gesticulating Chinese figures having tea on a rocky mound or pleasure boat among turbulent waves. All raised on acanthus scroll feet. The companion pair of two light candelabrum are similar open pagoda style flanked by pairs of upward arching arms with bobeche and cast floral candlecups. Within one pagoda is a blanc de chine scholar seated on a recumbent buck and the other a scholar seated on a recumbent elephant.Condition: Overall very good. A LOUIS XVI BRONZE DORÉ AND MARBLE CLOCK GARNITURECirca 1880, Le Faucheur, H. ger DU ROY signed on faceThe gilt bronze torch and quiver tied to a laurel wreath with a bow and trailing ribbons is supported by an alabaster clock body with an enameled clock face with domed cover featuring both Roman and Arabic numerals. The rear large mechanism cover conceals the clock plate that is stamped “417” and engraved “3731” and “7/9/81”. The clock is supported by fluted columns and flanked with cast cornucopia-form gilt bronze mounts and a stepped plinth featuring foliate mounts and raised on gadrooned feet. A pair of nine-light gilt bronze candelabras each with a bouquet of roses held aloft by a pair of finely cast gilt bronze maidens. Each candlecup is a rose and part of the bouquet. All raised on stepped alabaster plinths in scale with the clock.Condition: lacks key. Includes pendulum. RUSSIAN OFFICER`S NAVIGATORS CLASS BADGE - Old Russian officer`s Navigators class graduation badge. Circle formed by an anchor cable. It embraces a light-metal compass-card, on which are superimposed an anchor and sextant. The badge is of dark bronze, with the exception of the compass-card. The right to wear the badge was given to the officers who left successfully the temporary navigator`s class and recieved the rank of the officer-navigator of the 2nd class, beginning from those who left the class in 1911, to the officers who did not complete the course of the Officers Navigator Class, but had the rank of the navigator of the first class, to the officers who graduated from Hydrographical Department of the Naval Academy and passed the exams after a practical navigation together with the students of the Officers Navigator`s Class, to the head and the teaching staff of the Officers Navigator`s Class.
