Accompanied by a working key. General wear with knocks, bumps and scratches. Small patch of heavy scratching to top also small chip out of top at back. Drawer fronts one piece of wood with carved decoration. Back of top stamped 61500. Top loose. Tabletop chest: Note: Walnut NOT mahogany Approx. measurements 31 cm wide, 25.5 cm deep, 26.5 cm high. Some wear and tear and light scratches. Sun bleached. Lock stamped WOLFRUT (?). Accompanied by a working key.

Photo It has now been demonstrated that the Prussian blue is not a colour trial, but a genuine error of colour. Four sheets printed in this incorrect shade were issued in error by the Post Office Stores Department on 25 June 1935.
