1963 Morris Mini 850 Transmission: manualMileage:89999The history of this revolutionary motorcar is well known and its impact socially, culturally and mechanically is well documented. The Swinging Sixties, The Beatles, Twiggy and the Mini are inexorably combined to represent an era that is remembered with great fondness by many people. The side story is the Mini's impact on motorsport and this is no less extraordinary. Issigonis' friend John Cooper, owner of the Cooper Car Company and designer and builder of Formula One and rally cars, saw the potential of the Mini for competition. This three owner example of the Morris Mini 850 was built in 1962 and registered on 1st January 1963. It has been in current ownership for some 51 years and has been used as intended throughout its life, the vendor was familiar with the car from new, and belonged to a friend before he purchased it in 1973. Presented in light blue the Mini is ready for restoration having been dry stored for the past decade. Since it was driven into the garage for the last time the clutch has seized and the bodywork will need attending to, along with various mechanicals. The history file that accompanies the car includes many old MoT test certificates, invoices for maintenance work, old tax discs, and the current registration document. This example offered at no reserve is rather original, and even retains the original wiper motor with stamping 12,62,12V. This makes for a very exciting restoration project indeed and is also offered with its transferable cherished registration number '6225 PK'! Consignor Daniel Godin

1969 Jaguar E-Type Series II 'Semi lightweight homage' Transmission: manualMileage:71384Powered by the uprated 4.2 litre engine, compared to the 3.8 litre unit fitted to the previous model, the Series II E-Type offers longer legs for those continental drivers as well as offering a more practical sports car experience. Those classic E-Type styling cues though, are still very much present with that most beautiful of bonnet lines extending all the way back, taking in the fixedhead cockpit and ending in the beautifully curved rear end. Interestingly, the DNA from Sir William Lyons only extended to about 1,000 units of this model making it a rare iteration of this particular E-Type Jaguar. A culmination of a lifetimes experience and three years of painstaking attention to detail has resulted in what can be described as a true breathtaking one off example of the Series II E-Type, what can be referred to as loosely an homage to the Semi lightweight E-Type of the 60's this however in the vendors own terms was never intended to hold a likeness to any one car in particular but his own take on the perfect stance E-Type coupé. The result is part Eagle, Part Semi lightweight or low drag with widened arches and a race feel chrome bumper less example boasting a full roll cage and aluminium door cards that lean this towards track but could equally be softened with some carpeting and sound deadening to fast road. The original donor car was supplied to New York State in 1969 detailed in the British Heritage certificate and repatriated in 2015 back to the UK from the Beverley Hills Car club as found in a copy of the certificate of title alongside much of the original paperwork, which is still found in the history file. Our vendor, a skilled retired panel beater, purchased the car prior to the pandemic and the break in the worlds day to day jobs enabled him to take on and complete the project. Every panel has had some attention even if only to see the glass like new paint but features specifically such as the widened arches and deeper front set this apart from any regular restoration. The original, 4.2 litre engine having been rebuilt is largely standard but for triple Weber carburettors, alloy finned radiator, a one-off alloy header tank and braided hoses much supplied by RS Panels including bespoke LWE mud shields and stone guards. The wheels are 7€ Magnesium peg wheels to the front 8€ to the rear and hide larger 11 ¼ front discs so this stops as well as it goes and just encase coupled to the roll cage the car boasts Tillet Carbon GRP seats and TRS four-point harness. Supplied with a good history file with countless invoices from the build, coupled with its original book pack, Heritage certificate and UK V5 registration certificate. This example is light, fast and beautiful, one could say in its current state it is a piece of art and almost a shame to drive it in anger€¦but boy would we like to! Consignor Mathew Priddy

1985 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL Transmission: automaticMileage:94547The Mercedes-Benz was manufactured from 1954 and the designation SL derives from the German 'Sport Leicht' or 'Sport Light' and was first applied to the 300 SL 'Gullwing' named after the upward-opening doors. The term SL-Class refers to the marketing variations of the vehicle, including the numerous engine configurations spanning five design generations. The Mercedes-Benz R107 and C107 automobiles were produced from 1971 through to 1989, being the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz, after the G-Class. The R107 took the chassis components of the mid-size W114 model and mated them to the larger engines from the S-Class (W116). The SL variant was a two-seat convertible/roadster with standard soft top, hardtop and optional foldable seats for the rear bench. Volume production of the first R107 car, the 350 SL, started in April 1971 alongside the last of the W113 cars.Originally registered on 1st June 1985 this delightful R107 Mercedes-Benz is the larger 4973cc engine model. Finished in Cabernet Red with grey leather interior, this example has the rear seat fitted, as well as a hardtop. Having been in long term ownership for a number of years, this 500 SL comes with a good history folder. Presenting in good order throughout, this Mercedes-Benz drives well with no known faults. The 5.0 litre engine offers brisk performance and a very smooth ride. Supplied with a V5C registration document these Mercedes-Benz 500 SL's have to be well cared for and this one certainly has been.

1991 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL €œFrom the Cheesbrough Collection€ Transmission: automaticMileage:111026The Mercedes-Benz R129 SL was built between 1989 and 2002, a production run of more than a decade that eventually saw more than 200,000 examples being built. Replacing the much-loved - and even longer-lived R107 €“ this was the car that probably did more than any other in creating the hewn-from-solid reputation the company enjoyed at the time. Using a shortened W124 floorpan, the R129 was technologically advanced for its time, featuring electronically controlled suspension damping, a hydraulic roof mechanism, and a hidden rollover bar that could erect itself in milliseconds if it detected a less than optimal situation was developing. Only ever available as a two-door convertible, the SL was nonetheless offered with a decent range of engines whose capacity still bore a direct relevance to the model designation, a logical system that even idiot motoring journalists and discerning consumers alike could understand at a glance. This example is presented in Almandine Red metallic with biscuit leather interior and comes with its factory hardtop and stand and it has a black hood. Inside the history file are many old invoices and its current MoT test certificate which expires in June 2024. The car also comes with its original Mercedes-Benz wallet containing an Owner's Manual and its original service book which has stamps up to 6th July 2018. This example is in need of some love but the car does run and has a current MoT test certificate but ideally light commissioning would be recommended. Consigned by James Good.

1962 Triumph TR4 Transmission: manualMileage:75331Produced between 1961 and 1967, the TR4 combined a new, modern and aggressive body design by famed Italian stylist, Giovanni Michelotti with the basic chassis of the previous TR3A. The TR4 also improved passenger comfort with wind-up windows, face-level ventilation and an optional hardtop. The 2138cc engine of the late-production TR3A continued while the 1991cc engine was also made available to buyers who wanted to participate in two litre racing. When equipped with the optional overdrive, the TR4 was good for a top speed of almost 110mph. Today, the four-cylinder TRs are among the easiest of post-war classic sports cars to own and maintain being supported by a multitude of component suppliers and other specialists.Purchased new by Alan Bates, renowned Jazz record producer, impresario and the man who launched the career of Jamie Cullum, this TR4 is finished in red with black trim and first registered to Mr Bates on 14th June in 1962. Mr Bates had worked previously with Jimmy Hendrix, Tina Turner, and Otis Redding, while working for Polydor records, but in the late 60's we are informed by his daughter that he took this left-hand drive example to Paris where he lived and worked for several years opposite the Moulin Rouge, running Riverside Records before returning with the car to Southwest London where it remained. Sadly, after his passing in January 2023, the car was left to his wife and now owner of 2063 WK, who informs us that the car has been dry stored under covers in the family garage for about a decade, however, it was subject to an oil change and run in the summer of 2017 by Mr Bates nephew. Recently the car has been discovered, removed from the garage and sent to NVS for a light recommissioning, new oil, fuel and plugs all fitted and the car, although would benefit from further recommissioning should the buyer wish to use it on the road, it now starts and runs on the turn of the key and rolling freely however will be required to be trailered away. One can only imagine the people who have been passengers in 2063 WK and the events it would have been parked outside, a car Alan could not bare to part with throughout his life and was fondly remembered by his family, but for further recommissioning a wonderful sports car with a nice provenance and just one previous keeper. 2014 Bentley Mulsanne V8 MDS Transmission: automaticMileage:27543The Bentley Mulsanne is named after the Mulsanne Straight of the Le Mans racing circuit, Bentley cars having won six victories at the 24 Hours of Le Mans in the past. Bentley brought back the Mulsanne nameplate that was last used in 1992; this model replaces the hugely successful Arnage and was unveiled at the 2009 Pebble Beach Concours d'Elegance in August 2009. In keeping with the Arnage, the Mulsanne retained the 6750cc, V8 power unit, the engine was lighter and featured cylinder de-activation and variable cam phasing to improve fuel efficiency. It was the first flagship car to be independently designed by Bentley Motors in nearly 80 years; the last being W.O. Bentley's 8 litre model in 1930.This superb low mileage example of the fabulous model is presented in dark grey metallic with light cream/white leather interior. This car is fully loaded with all the extras the factory could offer which includes TV screens to the headrests, privacy windows, diamond stitching to the leather upholstery, glass sunroof, Sat nav, air conditioning etc. The condition of this Bentley is exemplary and the ride quality is sublime, matched with its powerful 6.7 litre engine, makes for a wonderful touring saloon. The car comes with full Bentley history and the vendor is retaining his private registration and a new V5 has been applied for which should arrive by the time of the auction but its new registration has been allocated as stated. 1986 Ford Escort RS Turbo Transmission: manualMileage:27815The 1986 Ford Escort RS Turbo was a compact powerhouse, a symbol of the era's hot hatchback craze. Under its unassuming exterior lay a 1.6 litre turbocharged engine producing 132 horsepower, propelling the car from 0-60mph in just 7.7 seconds. This performance-oriented Escort featured a sportier suspension, distinctive body cladding, and a rear spoiler, all adding to its dynamic appearance. It was renowned for its nimble handling and provided an exhilarating driving experience. The Escort RS Turbo remains an iconic representative of the 1980s hot hatch scene, cherished by enthusiasts for its blend of practicality and spirited performance. This Ford Escort RS Turbo was originally registered on 20th November 1986 and presents in black with a contrasting grey Recaro interior. The specification includes model correct details including 15€ six spoke alloys, central locking and a factory fitted manual sunroof. Power is delivered via a limited slip differential, and we are told this hot hatch is still fun to drive. The car has recently benefitted from some light recommissioning. Interested parties should note that the mileage on this car cannot be warranted and a full inspection is advised.  There are fewer cars of this era available in their original form and this Turbo would look well in any fast Ford collection.

1967 Airstream Overlander 26ft Transmission: manualMileage:Airstream is an American brand of caravans which are easily recognized by the distinctive shape of their rounded and polished aluminium coachwork. This body shape dates back to the 1930s and is based on designs created by Hawley Bowlus. Airstream trailers and recreational vehicles are manufactured in Jackson Center, Ohio. The company, now a division of Thor Industries, employs more than 800 people, and is the oldest in the industry. Airstreamers are a group who share a community spirit because of their common love of the trailers. In the early 1950s, Airstream company founder Wally Byam began leading groups of owners on travels to many parts of the world, where the towed trailers were quite a remarkable sight. Photos taken of the trailers in front of many famous tourist sites were common. This promoted a mystique which surrounded Airstreams that persists to this day. This well preserved 1967 26ft Overlander by Airstream International is presented here in its iconic polished aluminium found outside and within. Offering modern creature comforts after an interior restoration which kept the retro feel but introduced modern plug points and electrics, cookers/hob and lighting. The seating/dining area is trimmed in red to match the diner style and the food preparation area is equally as impressive. The kitchen surface is finished in a light beech and complemented with wipe clean white doors to form a space more commonly seen in high-end domestic kitchens than in anything on wheels. Cooking equipment is a combined oven/grill and a four-burner hob. Ample storage/cupboard space is available as you would expect. Sleeping six with a double bed to one end and the seating area converting to bunk beds. This twin UK axle caravan has been recently residing at the vendors address in the UK but, due to work commitments, no longer used and thus presents the ideal opportunity to own and tour the UK or Europe. 2018 Jaguar I-Pace EV400 HSE ex HM King Charles III Transmission: automaticMileage:35000* Photo courtesy of €œMax Mumby/Indigo - Getty Images€Purchased by HM King Charles III in April 2018 this range topping EV400 HSE Jaguar I-Pace was not only Jaguars first foray into Electric cars but the first electric car supplied to the Royal Family, of course given his passion for the environment Prince Charles at the time was the first to add the car to his collection. Presented with the registration OY18 BVC and provided direct from Jaguar UK for his personal use, the car was as we understand initially in Eiger Grey, a popular colour for the 2018 year, however his majesty insisted the car must be in his favourite colour of Loire Blue thus it was returned to Jaguar for a colour change and remains the only I-Pace to be produced in this colour. Seen on footage we also can see that blue lights were installed likely by the JLR special vehicles department which is common with Royal Vehicles and can be seen in photos. We are informed that in its time with the Royal Household not only did Charles drive the car but also the Queen and other royals such as Megan Markle have been photographed being driven in the I-Pace. The Jaguar fast charger was installed at his official London residence, Clarence House and on many occasions the then Prince was photographed in the car with one specific occasion on September 15th 2018 arriving at the Royal Albert Hall, where there is a video of him on YouTube exiting out of the car with the number plate in full view as the car approaches.  He was heard to reply to a shouted question that the car was 'silent but deadly'. Remaining in Royal ownership until December 2021 it was returned to Jaguar with a little under 3,000 miles on the clock, the registration number was removed (common practice with Royal cars) and age related OU18 VLW assigned before the car was offered for sale with Marshall Jaguar of Oxford, as per protocol, Jaguar didn't advertise its provenance but was made available for resale via the approved dealers. When our vendor saw the advert for a Eiger Grey I-Pace with the specification she desired she travelled to Oxford Jaguar but the details naturally had to be explained, notwithstanding the advert still held the production colour as JLR's system had not updated the specification and clearly this was in Blue not Grey. Not only was this unsurprisingly a 'fully loaded' I-Pace, it was in a colour she loved and with the added provenance that she would be driving around in Prince Charles' I-Pace it was not a difficult decision, however it is stressed this was a private purchase with no thought of future values but more of the amazing specification and buzz of owning an ex royal car! Having now owned the car and having maintained with Jaguar main dealers since 2020 this example is (less the blue lights) as it was in 2018, indeed it still retains a Jaguar Warranty until October this year, the mileage is little over 35,000 miles and the Light Oyster Windsor trim is in lovely condition throughout, just one former keeper on the logbook and has quite clearly been the pride and joy our lady owner and in full working order, even boasting a nice Jaguar bespoke fitted cover. Supplied with the V5 registration document, original purchase invoice from Marshall Jaguar this 294kW/90kWh example which has a full Jaguar service history and details of the extended warranty. Not only has this been owned by HM King Charles III, purchased with his own money but it was the first electric car owned by the Royal Family, the Jaguar I-Pace is also due to be discontinued before Jaguars all electric relaunch in 2025 so thus will become more collectable as a car in its own right. A pivotal moment in motoring is the seed change from combustion to electric vehicles and his ownership will long be thought of as a statement purchase by someone who has championed and been one of the world leading campaigners for climate change. Royal vehicles of such note usually see a significant uplift of over 4x the vehicles value so at this estimate looks like an incredible opportunity not only to own a piece of motoring heritage, nay history it could also be a fantastic future investment€¦â‚¬¦ Consignor Mathew Priddy*Interested parties should note the car was photographed/video'd with a cherished plate which has now been removed.  The Royal Jaguar I-Pace Story; The Roya Jaguar i-Pace with Special Vehicles blue lights fitted*Interested parties should note that the private registration number has been removed and OU18 VLW assigned, we are awaiting the new V5 from the DVLA which will arrive shortly.

1973 Mercedes-Benz 280CE €œFrom the Cheesbrough collection€ Transmission: automaticMileage:17719The W114 coupé hailed a completely new range of cars for Mercedes-Benz. Unlike everything else on offer, this did not take any previous elements from the standard 180 from the 1950's. A new designer was also bought in, Paul Bracq, who penned a pure and uncluttered motorcar. The roofline came down and the seats lowered to maintain headroom. The pillars were removed and all four windows wound down completely out of sight. By 1972 a new double overhead camshaft engine had joined the party. With 2,764cc and fuel injection from Bosch, power output rose to 185bhp.This example is presented in cream with biscuit interior including headrests and it also comes with an electric sunroof (currently not working). Its 2.7 litre engine is mated to an automatic gearbox and it comes with MoT test certificate which expires in September 2024. This is a very original car which could do with some light recommissioning although it does run and drive and was serviced by its late owner during his tenure. Its interior we believe has been replaced at some point but there is no evidence to suggest that this is the case. Its chrome bumpers appear to be in good condition with the bodywork showing signs of some rust. An inspection would be recommended. Consigned by James Good.

1989 Austin Mini Thirty Transmission: manualMileage:86650By the time the Mini celebrated its 30th anniversary it had already passed the remarkable production milestone of five million (achieved in 1986). Based on the Mini Mayfair and introduced in June 1989, the 'Thirty' was the most luxuriously equipped Mini Limited Edition model to date. Just two alternative paint schemes were offered - Cherry Red or black - featuring contrasting duo-tone coachlines and '1959-1989' decals and bonnet badge. Wheel arch extensions, door mirrors and sill covers were colour-matched to the body, chrome finish being reinstated for the grille, bumpers and door handles, while Minilite-style alloy wheels (soon to feature on the Mini Cooper) were a particularly handsome addition to the package. The 998cc engine could now run on unleaded petrol, and a catalytic converter was available as an option. 3,000 cars were built for the UK market, the colour split being 2,000 in Cherry Red, 1,000 in black. First registered on 1st August 1989 this mini 30 special edition is owned by Lady Judy McAlpine and is part of the McAlpine collection. Offered with an MoT until March 2024 after a light recommissioning the car has largely been stood for many years in the collection covering less than 1,000 miles since 2016 hence may need a little further attention if intended to be driven regularly. This 1275cc Mini 'Thirty' is finished in maroon with black trim with a red-piped leather interior, while other noteworthy features include a white wood-trimmed dashboard, a sunroof, alloy wheels and spot lamps to the front. Presented to auction with a V5C registration document, previous MoT certificates and described as being in good condition having been stored inside away from the elements. This rare example would grace any collection or make an ideal run-around and is offered without reserve. Consignor Mathew Priddy Guide Price £5,000-£10,000 *Interested parties should note the number plate shown is to be retained and a new, age-related registration issued instead.     *Interested parties should note that this example still requires some recommissioning as the carburettor requires some attention. It is recommended that the car is trailered away.

2005 Maybach 62 Transmission: automaticMileage:93500Maybach Motorenbau was a manufacturer founded in 1909 by Wilhelm Maybach and his son. In 1960, Maybach was acquired by Daimler-Benz and still remains as a luxury brand of Mercedes-Benz. Daimler produced an ultra-luxury edition of the Mercedes-Benz S-Class under the Maybach brand thus creating an even more magnificent vehicle and offering unrivalled luxury and specification. To promote the new Maybach line, Mercedes-Benz engaged with figures such as Maybach heir, Ulrich Schmid-Maybach together with golfer Nick Faldo to serve as brand ambassadors. When commissioning a vehicle, Maybach would, upon request, offer a huge array of standard and non-standard specification; as long as it was safe, practical and ethical, it could be supplied. The last Maybach vehicle was manufactured in December 2012 although Mercedes-Benz have recently re-instated the name on the high-end S-Class which is known as a Mercedes Maybach.Registered new on 2nd August 2005 this superb looking example is presented in Himalayan Grey paintwork over a Barrier Reef Red leather and walnut trim interior. The coachwork is in excellent condition only showing light stone chips to the front, and the wheels and engine bay present very well. Inside is pure luxury with leather and walnut trim in abundance. The vendor reports that the Maybach drives without issue and offers a beautiful smooth ride, although it should be noted that the factory Sat Nav system is currently not working. Showing 93,500 miles on the odometer the Maybach comes complete with an extensive service history, largely from Mercedes main dealers including its most recent service by Mercedes Sheffield in September 2022 at 90,600. 1934 Chrysler Plymouth Deluxe Convertible Coupé Transmission: manualMileage:86718The 1934 Chrysler Plymouth Deluxe Convertible stands as a timeless icon of automotive elegance and innovation. Boasting sleek, art deco-inspired lines, these cars exude a sense of sophistication which defined an era. The convertible top, a marvel of engineering for its time, added an element of versatility and open-air freedom to the driving experience. Beneath the stylish exterior, the Plymouth Deluxe featured a robust 3.3-litre flathead inline six-cylinder engine, delivering an excellent balance of power and efficiency. Its comfortable interior, adorned with luxurious materials, showcased Chrysler's commitment to craftsmanship. The 1934 model marked a pivotal year in automotive design, as manufacturers embraced aerodynamics and streamlined aesthetics. The Chrysler Plymouth Deluxe Convertible remains a cherished relic of automotive history, celebrated for its blend of performance, style, and the spirit of a bygone era. This example presents in excellent condition, understood to be an older 1980's restoration, which has stood up to the test of time well. The car was first registered in the UK to a Mrs. Meadows in 1938, who would retain ownership of the car right through the war years until 1957. Mrs. Meadows is believed to have travelled to Norwalk, Connecticut by Steamship in 1938 to purchase this car, so it was evidently in enthusiast ownership since its very early years. Our vendor purchased the car in 2016 and has enjoyed it ever since, reporting it is a joy to drive and the rear rumble seat is always popular with his grandchildren. The car is supplied with a current V5C registration document, older buff logbooks, period owner's manuals and brochure and a handful of invoices. Presenting in a very attractive colour scheme of a light eggshell grey with red interior, this would make an excellent addition to any collection and you'd be very unlikely to bump into another one. Peter Stevens, who went on to style the McLaren F1, softened the edges of the Giugiaro-era cars and redesigned the rear end created a striking, wide silhouette.A beautiful combination of high-quality, practically untouched leather, deep low-slung seats and an amazing wrap-around dash create an immersive seating position. The removable glass sunroof can be stowed in the boot creating an open, targa-style experience, this is a truly special car both visually and viscerally with its super-wide body and rear tyres providing exceptional levels of grip and performance. The lack of driver aids, power steering and anti-lock brakes means that it provides a 'pure' driver experience which is hard to find on modern counterparts. With such limited numbers of these hand-made cars produced and this being the special edition 'High-Wing' variant, this is an incredibly rare piece of British car history. It should be noted that only 64 examples of this specific model were produced by Lotus in 1992 and this is extremely likely to be the lowest mileage example anywhere.Interestingly, the SE (non-turbo version) also reached star status when it was driven by Sharon Stone in the 1992 film, Basic Instinct and also the wonderful and spirited driver, Julia Roberts in Pretty Woman. Indeed, it was recently invited to the concourse lawn at the Salon Privé at the Fête Champêtre & Concourse d'Elegance at the Hurlingham Club in June 2023. Needless to say, it was very well received. The owner has a collection of Ferraris, Porsches and other sporting greats and he was recently quoted as saying that he €œthought the F355 was the most perfectly balanced car to drive, until he drove the Esprit .€ Supplied with a reasonable history including a few invoices from Lotus specialist, Paul Matty, as well as the original owner's book pack, a brand-new light service and full one-year MoT test certificate.  With this sort of performance on tap, the next level of driver-experience can only really be found on the front line of racing-circuit grid.Consigned by Edward Bridger-Stille

1977 Rover 3500 Transmission: automaticMileage:1674The P6 was announced on 9 October 1963, just before the Earls Court Motor Show. The vehicle was marketed first as the Rover 2000 and was a complete 'clean sheet' design intended to appeal to a larger number of buyers than earlier models such as the P4 it replaced. The 3500 was introduced in April 1968 (one year after the Rover company was purchased by Triumph's owner, Leyland) and continued to be offered until 1977. The manufacturer asserted that the light metal V8 engine weighed the same as the four-cylinder unit of the Rover 2000, and the more powerful car's maximum speed of 114 mph as well as its 10.5-second acceleration time from 0-60 mph were considered impressive, and usefully faster than most of the cars of this price and specifications. In comparison, tested by Motor magazine in the issue published on 20 April 1968, it achieved a maximum speed of 117 mph, 0-60 mph in 9.5secs, with a standing quarter mile in 17.6 seconds. We are informed that this late example was used by the diplomatic protection wing of the Metropolitan Police force and retains its two-tone sirens, lights and switches as well as being presented with various Police paperwork including incident notebooks and even the Radio Telephone instruction book. This rare example is in good order throughout and has been dry stored during our vendors tenure. Offered to auction with a V5c registration document and various bills and receipts this piece of automotive history deserves further inspection. Consigned by Dominic Lake

1986 Mercedes-Benz 500 SL Transmission: automaticMileage:78500The Mercedes-Benz SL-Class has been manufactured since 1954. The designation SL derives from the German 'Sport Leicht' or 'Sport Light' and was first applied to the 300 SL 'Gullwing,' named after the upward-opening doors. The term SL-Class refers to the marketing variations of the vehicle, including the numerous engine configurations spanning five design generations. The Mercedes-Benz R107 and C107 cars were produced from 1971 through to 1989, being the second longest single series ever produced by Mercedes-Benz after the G-Class. The R107 took the chassis components of the mid-size W114 model and mated them to the larger engines from the S-Class (W116) and has become a benchmark of quality throughout the years. This lovely example of this iconic and sought after model is presented in blue/black metallic with cream leather interior. The car had been dry stored for a period of about 10 years previous to our vendor's purchase about five years ago. It has recently been resprayed and the invoice for this can be seen in the history file, as can the car's MoT history. It comes with a black hood which is in good condition we are informed and this is one of the most sought after being powered by the mighty 5.0 litre V8 giving smooth performance as Mercedes-Benz cars are well known for.

1981 Porsche 911 SC Sport Targa Transmission: manualMileage:75918Starting in 1978, the new 3.0 litre 911 SC was the second generation basic 911 model. It was in effect a Carrera 3 (known as a 911S in the United States) detuned to provide 180 bhp. The 'SC' designation was reintroduced by Porsche for the first time since the 356 SC as distinguished from the race-engine 356 Carrera. No Carrera versions were produced and the 930 Turbo remained at the top of the range. Porsche's engineers felt that the weight of the extra luxury, safety and emissions equipment on these cars was blunting performance compared to the earlier, lighter cars with the same power output, so in non-US cars, power was increased to 185 hp for 1980, then finally to 201 hp. However, cars sold in the US market retained their lower-compression 180 hp engines throughout. This enabled them to be run on lower-octane fuel but made them less desirable, indeed SC's sold in the UK could be also specified with a desirable Sport Group Package which added stiffer suspension, the rear spoiler, front rubber lip and black Fuchs wheels. A quite incredible find, this 1981 example of the desirable Sport optioned 911 SC Targa has been with the owner and our vendor since 1985 when he purchased it from the second owner via No5 Garage in W12 London as found in the invoices and original sticker in the rear window. First registered on 12th June and finished in black on black with the important original Fuchs wheels (including spare) and iconic whale tale. When purchased in 1985 after a search for the desired colour combination and sport specification the car had covered a lofty 56,000 miles, over the next decade our vendor, working in sales in London, enjoyed the trappings of the 'yuppy' lifestyle with oversized mobile phones and big bonuses one of which when he won he decided to retrim the houndstooth trim (sadly) with an 80's retro style presented today. As years went by the racy 911 was replaced by a luxury Lexus (found next to the 911 in the barn) but the Targa remained his pride and joy, memory of his early success. As the car became the garage queen but regularly used and serviced the mileage declined and over the last decade, although regularly started, it had found itself restricted to the barn. A dry and well-ventilated location this provided an ideal storage for the car which up until the start of the winter was also covered but due to a storm this cover must have been blown off and thus the dust settled on the car. Don't be fooled, under that dust are soft rubbers, no cracks in the plastic, a car that starts and runs well and has all of the electrics functioning€¦ indeed if washed would look like any other well-preserved survivor 911 SC and at auction we have enlisted detailers to show you just how good. The last service was in late 2006 with Specialists GT One and we would advise that it would require some light recommissioning before using in anger, fan belts, new fuel and oil but the tyres are not cracked and when running gives very little indication of its sheltered last decade. Offered with an original book pack, a good history file with the original purchase invoice from No.5 Garage in 1985 and details of its more recent service coupled to Sorn notifications and ample MoT certificates. This really is a survivor even boasting the original pre-1985 silver wheel nut locks including both magnetic release tools and a car that has a great story and represents a very desirable black on black Sport specification low mileage low owner example€¦. A light recommissioning and perhaps returning the houndstooth trim would be in order but afterwards this would be a real collector's example for which viewing is highly recommended. 2004 Land Rover Defender 90 Td5 Transmission: manualMileage:97000The Land Rover Series I was launched in 1948 and, incredibly, production only finished in January 2016 after a continuous run of 67 years through various evolutions before becoming the Defender, though the design stayed largely un-changed. Outwardly, there is little to distinguish the post-1983 vehicles from the Series III Land Rover. A full-length bonnet, revised grille, plus the fitting of wheel arch extensions to cover wider-track axles are the most noticeable changes. Internally, coil springs offered a more comfortable ride and a permanent four-wheel drive system derived from the Range Rover featuring a two-speed transfer gearbox with a lockable centre differential. A modernised interior and a new series of progressively more powerful and modern engine characterised things under the skin. This Defender is fitted with the brilliant 2.5-litre 'Td5' engine, one of the firm favourites in Defender circles. The engine has been remapped by famed Td5 tuner, Alive Tuning, with an uprated turbo, aluminium intercooler, EGR delete, de-restricted exhaust and washable air filter, we are told it's a blast to drive.  Affectionately known as 'Rex', our vendor has thoroughly enjoyed this Defender, taking it to the Swiss Alps during ski season, covered the Netherlands from head to toe, taken it to Le Mans and on countless camping trips around the UK. The interior has been upgraded with Exmoor leather bucket seats and headlining, as well as having side foldaway seats in the rear, it has a heated windscreen and air conditioning. We are advised the air conditioning blows ice cold at the compressor but the blower needs replacing. The real party piece is the numerous off-roading modifications which have been fitted; these include, Terrafirma twin shock suspension and A12000 winch, sump guards, diff guards and light guards, 1.2 heavy duty Ashcroft transfer box, ARB rear air locker and compressors (including hose for inflating the tyres), ARB style bumpers, rock crawlers, roll cage including bulkhead delete, 35€ STT Pro tyres, patriot roof rack and ladder, ECU relocated to the roof, lazer light bars, LED rear lights, snow vent covers, upgraded rear wheel mount and masai rear windows. Quite simply, if you want a Defender which truly is a 'go anywhere' example, this ticks all of the boxes. Serviced by our Aston Martin specialist vendor in June 2023, before heading off to Le Mans, supplied with a V5C registration document, an MoT test certificate and a raft of invoices. Consignor Fraser Smith Interested parties should note, this Defender was recorded as a Category D insurance loss in October 2006. Our vendor understands the claim was due to the vehicle being stolen and having the doors stolen, which had to be replaced.

1973 MG B GT V8 Police Car Transmission: manualMileage:22901The MGB was first introduced in May 1962 as a direct replacement for the MGA.  Performance was brisk with power supplied by a 1798cc four-cylinder iron block engine set within a monocoque lightweight bodyshell with crumple zones incorporated. October 1965 saw the introduction of the GT and was based on the already popular roadster.  Designed by Pinninfarina, the new GT sported a hatchback giving useful access to the rear luggage space and a rear bench seat that enabled the car to be called a 2+2. Although acceleration was slightly slower than the roadster, top speed was better by 5mph due to the increased aerodynamic efficiency. The possibility of fitting the larger aluminium 3528cc Rover P5B engine into the MG B GT was always an option. Space was not a problem as the car had originally been designed for fitment of a V4 that was never produced. This pre-production MG B GT V8 was first registered on 2nd February 1973 and was originally registered as a Police car. British Leyland sent these MG's to selected Police forces for operational evaluation. MG B V8's remained in production until 1976, the model was never offered for sale in the US. This example underwent a major restoration in 2009-2013 which included a bare metal respray and major mechanical items, invoices totalling some £23,000 are in the file. Presenting in the colour combination of white (unsurprisingly) and navy interior, still present is the Police sign and light on the roof (this must be covered for road use). The Police radio is still in the interior which is in great condition. Supplied with a V5C registration document, some service history, together with some interesting Police notepads. MG B GT V8's are always sought-after, this very rare (there were 12 allocated to the Police) and exceptionally tidy example is sure to create interest with collectors and enthusiasts.  Consignor Stewart Banks

1959 Lambretta 150 Transmission: manualMileage:261Before World War II, Ferdinando Innocenti founded a successful engineering company making steel pipes and joints still used today for scaffolding and named it 'Tubi Innocenti'. Just after the war he saw the potential for an economic means of transport and created the Lambretta, so called because its factory was in the east suburb of Milan, Lambrate. Lambretta had a tubular frame, to which the body panels were fixed and the engine was a small single cylinder two stroker. In 1957, the Lambretta, which up to then was always grey, was enriched with a two-tone finish: the two rear lids, the front and the handlebar nacelle could be painted in Light Blue, Emerald Green, English Blue or Deep Red. The scooter we are offering comes somewhat reluctantly from Lady McAlpine who has fond memories of careering about the country behind her first love (whom she married) on an identical Lambretta, known as the Gremlin as it was constantly in need of attention.  This one has never caused trouble but has now been more or less on display for several years. Restored some years ago, it is painted in the attractive two-tone colours of blue and cream with matching seats. Powered by a two-stroke 150cc engine, this iconic and rare motorcycle would grace any collection or would look great as a 'prop' for a café or restaurant and although running and driving, may need some further recommissioning should you wish to use it on the road. Very chic and retro with charm to boot! Lady McAlpine is only parting with it because she feels it should be driven and she feels happier in a car these days. Consignor Mathew Priddy Guide Price £3,500-£4,000    *Interested parties should note that this Lambretta will require recommissioning and is currently not running

2001 Maserati 3200GT Transmission: automaticMileage:65815The Maserati 3200 GT was styled by Italdesign whose founder and head, Giorgetto Giugiaro, previously designed, amongst others, the Ghibli, Bora and Merak and so certainly had the pedigree behind him. Sold mainly in Europe, the 3200GT shared the twin-turbo 3.2 litre, V8 featured in the Quattroporte IV and Shamal, revised and tuned to 365bhp. The tail lights consisted of LEDs arranged in the shape of a boomerang. The outer layer of the 'boomerang' provided the brake light, with the inner layer providing the directional indicator. Sadly, the U.S. insisted on bulbs and so, as is so often the way, style made way for bureaucracy. Nevertheless, it went on to be a great success until 2007 with the boomerang rear lights being the more desirable.First registered on 1st December 2001, this wonderful 3200GT presents incredibly well. The handsome blue metallic paint gleams and the cream interior appears unmarked. The vendor has owned the car since 2011 and has always kept it garaged in a dry de-humidified garage along with his other classic cars. Using it regularly throughout his ownership, the car remained one of his favourites. This can be seen by the fantastic history file that shows servicing invoices going back throughout the car's 22 year life. Every handbook is present along including the Maserati booklet cloth case. Cambelt changes have been on schedule at 28,000 miles, 60,000 miles and even again in 2022 at 65,000 miles, with the knock sensors being replaced in 2018. All work has been carried out by reputable companies such as Meridian Modena, Autostore and Giallo. The vendor, a fastidious man, always kept his cars in perfect working order and this 3200GT is testament to that.Supplied with a V5C registration document, full booklet pack and comprehensive service history file. This 3200GT presents beautifully and drives even better. Consigned by Will Penrose.Guide price £8,000-£12,000

1989 Volkswagen Scirocco GT II Transmission: manualMileage:27600A heavily redesigned Type 2 variant (internally designated Type 53B) went on sale in 1981, although it remained on the A1 platform. The second generation Scirocco, still assembled on behalf of Volkswagen by Karmann of Osnabrück (in the same factory as the first generation Scirocco), was first shown at the 1981 Geneva Motor Show in March that year. Designed by Volkswagen's own internal design team, the new car featured increased front and rear headroom, increased luggage space and a reduction in the coefficient of drag. One feature of the Type 2 was the location of the rear spoiler midway up the glass on the rear hatch. A mid-cycle update occurred in 1984, which included minor changes over the 1982 model: removal of the outlined SCIROCCO script from the rear hatch (below the spoiler), a redesigned air conditioning compressor, and a different brake master cylinder with in-line proportioning valves and a brake light switch mounted to the pedal instead of on the master cylinder. This example was registered new on 16th December 1989 and was purchased by its one private owner from new. Offered in silver coachwork over a cloth interior this Scirocco presents very well. The paintwork is generally very good although there are some age related blemishes, and the interior is in very good order. Offered with a history file including the original service booklet and maintenance booklets, many old MoT test certificates, sundry bills, and the original sales invoice. Interested parties should note that the UK registration document that accompanies the car is showing one previous keeper (due to a family member re-registering the car in their name in more recent times). Having been dry stored at the original vendor's home from new and having covered a mere 27,600 miles this really is an opportunity not to be missed.

We are delighted to offer a Splendid Genesis in our premier auction. The fabled Magic the Gathering card has a legendary backstory - Given out exclusively at the christening of Richard Garfield's daughter there is roughly 125 of these in the world. This particular version was given to Julian Snape, a former manager at the UK branch of Wizards of the Coast, unfortunately Julian wasn't able to make the event but was still sent the card along with a hand written message by Garfield, the creator of Magic the Gathering. The card has a couple of notable issues that are not visible on a scan. There is a slight crease in the top corner of the card and a slight crease at the bottom of the card. Neither crease are very visible and only become apparent under light at a certain angle. This card is notorious for printing issues as it was specifically designed and printed for the event. This is the definition of Magic history.
