A small Regency mahogany bowfront chest, of four graduated long drawers on swept bracket feet, W.2ft 6in. D.1ft 4.5in. H.2ft 9in.CONDITION: Overall in good clean condition, colour is a mid to light brownish mahogany tone with the top a little lighter, small old dents scuffs and scratches to the top commensurate with age, handles are later replacements, locks look to be original but no key present, second lock down is later replacement, minor old scratches and scuffs to the sides which have a more matted less polished tone, one small patched repair near the back left foot.

Simon van den Berg (Dutch, 1812-1891) and Christiaan Immerzeel (Dutch, 1808-1886)oil on panelOpen landscape with figures, sheep, a cow, donkey and goatsigned by both hands lower left20 x 28.25in.CONDITION: Oil on panel in good original condition, possibly in need of a very light clean but no real faults noted, slight lines running through the sky in line with the grey of the panel and very minor rubbing marks around the edges, housed in probably the original gilt gesso frame which suffers from some losses, label verso for what looks to be a Christie's sale 20th June 2002 lot 113. A Director of the Mauritshuis Museum (1880-1889), Simon van den Berg, who was considered as one of Holland's leading animal-painters, often collaborated with his brother-in-law, Christiaan Immerzeel.
A French Art Deco bronzed spelter table lamp, modelled as a kneeling dancer holding aloft a spherical marbled glass globe, on black marble plinth, height 21in.CONDITION: Metal figure had a golden bronze patination in the main but much of this has now been rubbed down to a darker blackish ground metal colour, in addition there are some light surface scuffs and scrapes, the globe may well be the original, certainly fits well and does look a little dirty, plinth very dusty but otherwise good.
After Charles Spencelayhoil on canvas laid on boardThe Violin Maker34 x 27in.CONDITION: Oil on board with looks to be a laminated perspex cover, resulting in glossy patches showing through the paint where the varnish is reflecting light, fairly sketchily painted but with some areas of quality and overall having the appearance perhaps of an unfinished sketch, no sign of any signature, housed in a gilt gesso frame which has been gold painted but otherwise is in good order, no labels verso.
Robert Thompson "Mouseman". An adzed oak centre table, with circular top and saltire underframe carved with a mouse, Diam.4ft 6in. H.2ft 4.5in.CONDITION: Overall of an even light golden to ginger tone with some light surface wear to the top, the top planks have separated and have warped and will require specialist attention, perhaps with leveling, by adzeing, then cleating? The underframe is rather dirty.
A Chinese ruby ground jardiniere, Daoguang mark and of the period (1821-50), of ruyi head outline, painted to four reserves with landscape scenes and birds amid flowers and rockwork, on a ruby ground decorated with bats, pendants, flowers and scrolling leaves, the turquoise glazed base with iron red six character seal mark, 17cm wide, 6.5cm high, wood standCONDITION: Provenance - UK private collection, gifted to the vendor's late mother by her aunt before 1970.The jardiniere has been broken in half and crudely re-glued with some flaking to the glaze and enamels around the area, there is also a V shaped section of the rim missing where the jardiniere has been glued, the wood stand is not a perfect fit for the jardiniere however it has been on there some time as you can see where the wood is darker where it has been kept from the light, the stretchers of the wood stand have been re-glued.

Alfredo Pina (1883-1966). A bronze figure of Héraclès kneeling upon a rocky mound, signed on the stone, width 21in. height 20in.CONDITION: Overall a little dirty and dusty but otherwise looks to be in good order, a greenish dark brown patination evenly throughout, stamped Made in France on the underside of the left foot, signed in ink on the back of the rock which has light scuffs and scratches to the extremities, one small pin hole in the bronze by the right ankle.
D. Brucciani & Co of London. An ebonised plaster bust of Augustus, with integral socle, height 27in.CONDITION: Thought to date from the mid 20th century but possibly a little earlier, black painted finish may well have been overpainted at some point but still looks effective and has a mostly matted tone, a few light areas of scuffing around the edges where the white plaster is showing through.
Yuri Matushevski (Russian, 1930-1999)oil on boardOrthodox church in wintersigned and dated 196821 x 27in.CONDITION: Oil on board in honest untouched condition, some of the board is left unpainted and shows through as a dark tan tone particularly in the wall on the left, possibly needs a light clean but no other faults noted, plain bleached wood frame, no labels verso.
Lucien Gibert (1904-1988) - an Art Deco silvered spelter figure of a female archer, standing with ivorine bow, on a signed marble plinth H. 26.5in. W. 22.5in.CONDITION: Good untouched condition, a little dirty with some light wear but essentially good order. Plinth has a few very fine chips to the edges.
An Art Deco style mahogany and suede three piece suite, settee W.6ft 6in. D.3ft 4in. H.2ft 6in.CONDITION: Timber in high state of polish and good rich colour, one or two very light scuff marks in the varnish and a slight separation of the veneers on the arm of one of the chairs, upholstery with one or two small dirt spots but overall looks to be in good order, purchased from Futir Anterieur in 1994.

William Minshall Birchall (1844-1941)pair of watercolours'Evening shadows, the Pool of London' and 'Towing out with the tide'signed and dated 192210 x 14in.CONDITION: Both works in honest untouched condition, probably a little faded but still retaining good strength of colour, 'Out with the tide' has some scuff marks in the top left corner and some light scattered foxing, the other again with some scattered fox and dirt specks, some of which are on the glass, both housed in the original plain gilt slips and moulded glazed frames.

A Louis XVI style bronze and ormolu fender, with putto and foliate scroll terminals, length 48in. height 24in.CONDITION: Light wear and general oxidisation to all of the gilt work, bronze putti of a dark blackish patination again with some rubbing and oxidisation to the scrolls that they hold, lower plinth section of a plain bronze colour with some spotting.
A 19th Century French Empire style ormolu mantel clock, modelled with a figure of Odysseus standing beside a plinth with various other classical motifs, dial signed Foisse à Bologne, unsigned eight day countwheel movement, height 15in.CONDITION: Overall rather dusty but the ormolu in the main with a good gilt finish just some very light rubbing to the extremities, central eagle and sheet music mount is loose and not fixed in place, left hand trophy mount is a little loose, dial very dirty with hairline crack at 10 o'clock and chipping to the left hand winding hole, hands look original, movement complete and with a delicate pendulum but not tested for timekeeping, minor spotting around the lower part of the case, no back door.
A 19th century French flame mahogany commode, with black granite top, divided frieze drawer and three further long drawers and a plinth drawer, on block feet, W.4ft 2in. D.1ft 10in. H.3ft 2in.CONDITION: Top is probably later but does have some age and also suffers from a number of light surface scratches particularly on the left, no key to any of the locks, top drawer has central divisions within it, next drawer down lacks it lock and has original handles, following drawer has lock but no handles and appears never to have had them, bottom drawer has lock and handles, overall good rich colour, some light scuffing around the escutcheons particularly on the middle drawer, a few vertical splits running up both sides.

Brault. An Art Deco patinated bronze model of a prowling panther, with light green brown patination, on variegated marble plinth, width 29.5in. height 8.5in.CONDITION: Honest original untouched condition, some minor dirt specks and very light rubbing to the bronze but overall very good, minor nicks to the front two corners of the plinth.
A pair of late 19th century French ormolu six light candelabra, with foliate scroll vineous branches, swagged stems and serpentine bases on toupie feet, width 13in. height 23.25in.CONDITION: Both in used but good condition, some rubbing and wear to the ormolu from polishing and use over the years so that the gilt finish is variable in state of polish and colour, traces of wax scattered throughout.
Dwerryhouse & Carter of London. A Regency brass inset mahogany mantel clock, with architectural case and painted Roman dial, unsigned twin fusee movement, height 19.5in.CONDITION: Overall a little dusty but otherwise looks to be honest and untouched, mid to light brown mahogany tone, darker at the top and with some ebonised details, top finial slightly bent out of place, two slim cracks running in to each side of the dial through the main case, dial looks a little rubbed, hands probably original, two sections of brass stringing missing from the lower part of the front of the case, side handles and pierced brass grills with a dull bronze finish, silk lining to side panels very tired, key missing for the lock that holds the bezel in position but still fits tightly, no key for the back door which has very minor losses around the edges, movement looks to be in good condition, complete but not tested for timekeeping, comes with an adjustable pendulum but no keys.
Antonio Senape (1788-1850)two ink on paper drawingsCastello di Provida and Castello di Padua?both inscribed7.25 x 10.5in. and 6.5 x 9.75in.CONDITION: Provida is the larger work with ink on light buff coloured paper which is undulating, a number of scattered fox and dirt marks and a darker sepia line running horizontally in line with the rowing boat which may be from being stuck or tabbed in the past, titled in pencil, washline mount and slim gilt frame, attribution to the artist verso, the other work looks a little flat and may be laid down, ink slightly faded to a brownish tone, a vertical sepia line running down the right hand side, title is ink with the date 1820, old washline mount and plain wood frame.
J. A Victorian German walnut symphonion, with stencil decorated lid and gilt bronze handles, the interior of the lid inset with a photo-lithographic panel of cherubs, movement playing 12 inch discs, width 19.5in. depth 15in. height 9.25in.CONDITION: Case overall in honest untouched condition, a little faded to the top with light scuffing commensurate with use, gilding from handles has mostly worn away, a crack runs through the cherub panel inside the lid, movement in good working condition, comes with 36 discs which vary in condition.
Claire Jeanne Roberte Colinet (1880–1950) - an Art Deco patinated bronze figure of a naked hoop dancer, on a pink and grey stepped marble plinth, height 22in.CONDITION: Honest untouched condition, some light wear to the golden green patination particularly at the extremities, signed at the back on the top of the plinth which has minor nicks and dents.
A pair of early Victorian cast iron occasional tables, with later circular black granite tops, foliate scroll underframes and plinth feet, Diam. 1ft 9in. H.2ft 4in.CONDITION: Both tops are later and suffer from varying degrees of light surface scratching, underframes with old black paint, a little dirty and worn at the bases.

Attributed to Pieter van Bloemen (1657-1720)oil on canvasAn encampment in an Italianate landscape26.5 x 32in.CONDITION: Oil on canvas relined within the past 10 - 20 years or so, canvas remains tight, paint rather dirty, with a fine but stable craquelure through much of it, one scuffed scratch on the right at 4 o'clock beside the horseman in the red jacket, further light markings showing above in the trees and a very light surface dent in the left side grey horse, with other small marks in the trees above, otherwise a hint of old stretcher marks showing on the left and signs of retouching around the margins, no sign of any signature, housed in a later gilt frame which has small losses to the corners, no labels or inscriptions verso.
An F. W. Elliott Golden Jubilee clock, modelled in the style of a late 17th century bracket clock, with ormolu mounted ebonised case, matted square dial and movement striking on four gongs, supplied by Garrard & Co with original fitted case and winding key, height 12in.CONDITION: One or two tiny nicks to the front top of the case and further light scuffing across the bottom but overall in good original untouched condition, silvering to the chapter ring slightly oxidised, no other faults noted, comes with various original paperwork including certificate numbered 96 of 100.

A Regency mahogany longcase regulator, with 10 inch circular silvered dial, movement with anchor escapement and iron and brass pendulum H.6ft 7in.CONDITION: Case of a mid to light brown mahogany tone, slightly lighter around the dial and top of the trunk door and elsewhere, old splits running to the left of the bezel near the escutcheon, some fine cracks running down the right hand side of the trunk, a diagonal crack running upwards into the case from beside the top right corner of the trunk door, minor denting and scuffing throughout, two horizontal cracks running from the right side of the box base, dial scuffed and oxidised, hands look original, movement complete and thought to be going but not tested, comes with pendulum that has lost the cross T bar at the top of the ribbon but otherwise looks original, working trunk key, working key for bezel lock and a squared cast iron weight.

A 19th century Swiss Nicole Freres table musical box, with movement playing five interchangeable 15 inch cylinders, each playing eight airs, retailed by Asprey in 1990, width 44in. depth 24in. height overall 39in.CONDITION: Excellent fully restored condition, overhauled by Asprey in 1990 and at that date sold for £13,500. Main case and table below all in good restored condition, one or two small dents, knocks and scratches commensurate with light use and occasional accident but overall very good, movement in excellent clean condition, base plate is numbered 52211, comes with original key and five play cards listing the eight airs played by each cylinder.

A pair of 19th century French Empire style ormolu mounted mahogany fauteuils, with cherub and lyre decoration, padded backs and seats, dolphin arm terminals and sabre legs, W.1ft 11in. D.1ft 8in. H.3ftCONDITION: Both chairs of good rich dark mahogany colour and fair state of polish, ormolu mounts are crisp and complete on both chairs, light wear to the tops of the arms and minor scuffing around the feet, later brown velvet upholstery.
Robert Pansart (1909-1973). A reverse painted mirrored panel, depicting two figures dancing around a central ribbon entwined tree, central panel 4ft 2.5in x 4ft 3.25in., with matching marginal panels, 5ft 6.5in. x 8in.CONDITION: All of the mirroring is oxidised with spotting showing throughout and some fine streaks and light scratches to the back, painted areas in good order, tiny chips to the extreme top corners, equally tiny chipping around the corners of the marginal panels.
An unusual Victorian Pontypool toleware purdonium, with cast iron loop handles and cast iron tripod foot, painted throughout with flowers on a pale gold ground, W.1ft 7in. D.1ft 4in. H.2ft 2in.CONDITION: Overall in very good condition, a little light wear and some light craquelure to the flowers on the top with minor rubbing to the paintwork around the edges, interior looks to be original - painted pink with further floral sprays, the faux tassel drops, loop handles and base are all painted in a dark matted gold finish.
After Claude Michel Clodion (French 1738-1814). A bronze group of two Bacchantes and a putto, height 35in., on a rouge royal marble column, total height 6ft 2.5in.CONDITION: A little dusty but otherwise in very good condition, an even light to mid chocolate brown patination throughout, stands upon a thin plywood base and then a red and black marble pedestal, overall height 6ft 1in.

A 19th century Dieppe carved ivory crozier, thought to be a copy of a 13th century example, and profusely decorated with foliate scrolls, Gothic motifs, scenes from the Life of Christ and the Apostles and a coat of arms centred with cart wheels and rampant leopards, length 46in.CONDITION: Of a light caramel colour but for one ivory joint at the top and the light ivory ferule to the base, old cracks running inside the top scroll and one or two minor dents elsewhere, a hairline crack running to the upper left of the central armorial but overall looks to be in very good condition.

A WWII Military Cross group of seven to Major Leonard Elliot Dickson, CBE, MC, Glasgow Highlanders Light Infantry, awarded the MC during the advance on Bremen and LangwedelCONDITION: All medals housed in a recent display case, therefore we have not been able to access them but all look to be in good clean condition, comes with three printed sheets giving the full details of the recipient and seperately boxed miniatures which lack the miniature MC.
Antique two seater sofa with green upholstery. 146cm wide x 78cm high x 82cm deep Condition report: Sofa in sound overall order. Would appear to have possibly been a drop end at some stage and has been later converted so that it has a fixed arm. Some scratching and marks evident to the feet (see photographs). Covering is later but in sound order. Would benefit from light cleaning
