PUNCH'S DOG, 'TOBY' maker's mark rubbed, London 1882. 6cm highThe marks on the flange are reasonably clear, but the maker's mark is rubbed, and the date letter is difficult to read. The hinge is in good order, and the cover snaps closed well. Registration number to rear of hat. Minute pin-prick size hole to the top, which is not visible from the outside but light can be seen shining through from inside. Some age-related surface wear.
